Delighted to meet Jessica who had only been a voice on the phone. Soooo helpful. Then Sarah let me know what tov expect and afterward, she was helpful again. Masiah was very skilled at the exam. Good patient rapport very professional. And of course Dr Birkmann was his usual wonderful practitioner and a joy to deal with. He answered all my questions. Went in to get a sample colored contacts to try while making my appts for my son and I. Jody looked at me like she was not use to seeing black women in the vision center. This lady acted very bothered and clearly has a problem with black people. She should not be working at the front desk or anywhere on the planet that is public facing. She was so rude and disrespectful! Because of her lack of professionalism I will not be back; and neither will my son. Pathetic

It was a totally wonderful experience beginning with Jessica by phone several days before. Then Jodi and Hannah and Sara were amazing. Dr. Mark is a remarkable clinician and educator. I learned things about my eyes that I wish I had been taught years before. In addition, he is attentive and an excellent listener. Hands down the best optometrist in the neighborhood! Very clean office, professional staff, and Dr. Mooney is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful experience at Georgetown Vision Center! Mark Birkmann was incredibly professional, kind, and patient throughout the entire visit! They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable with each step of the exam. The staff was equally friendly and helpful, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. I left feeling confident in my eye health and really appreciated the personalized care. Highly recommend Mark and the team if you're looking for quality vision care in a welcoming environment!

Unsure how they get 4.9 rating. They sent a text on Wednesday for a reminder of a $ 17.44 remaining payment that insurance did not cover. If you think you have till the week end to deal with it, then you are WRONG. Collection starts calling you on Friday adding a $50 fee making the total dues 4x the original amount. Other clinics would take few extra dollars from you beyond the deductible in case the insurance does not cover all the promised amount and then reimburse you the difference.

Dr. B was amazing! Kathy was amazing and so was Laura Lea! I had such a welcoming amazing experience. Everyone was so kind and patient. I felt so welcome. I love it here. I've been coming for about 3 years now and don't plan on going anywhere else!

I have gone to Georgetown Vision Center for several years now, including when it was Pearl Vision. The last two times I have been told that I must pay a $50 deposit before I can make the appointment. When I asked today why that was necessary, she said it is because I have a history of missed or cancelled appointments. I am puzzled by this because I go one time per year for my annual eye exam. Under my Medicare advantage plan it will cost me nothing out of pocket. In the last three years, I have had several family members with medical issues I have had to be out of town to care for. I cannot possibly bring in so much revenue that my cancellations make so much difference. I do make and keep appointments but life's circumstances have impacted me greatly in recent years. So disappointed!
