Texas Vision Georgetown

Earlier this month, I was lucky enough to have an appointment with Texas Vision in Georgetown. From the moment I entered, I felt welcomed and at ease. Many folks are apprehensive about dental visits. My deep-seated fear is the eye doctor. The entire staff at Texas Vision, Georgetown dispelled my bad vibes. Trusting ones Vision takes a huge leap of faith. Dr. Reynolds took his time to review my tests and to explain that Lasik would not be advised for my condition. His openness, patience, and honesty puts him head and shoulders above my other recent eye doctors. My most sincere thanks and recommendation for Dr. Reynolds, and even Maria at the reception, who has been an absolute gem with her assistance.

I recently underwent advanced surface ablation surgery, and I couldn't be happier with the results! The procedure was explained in detail, and everyone at Texas Vision was incredibly supportive throughout the process. Dr. Reynolds and staff are truly amazing. My husband and I had cataract surgery in the summer. Dr. Reynolds was amazing. He explained our options thoroughly, and did our surgery. It went exactly as he said it would. The procedure was fast and painless. The team at Texas Vision is AWESOME, very knowledgeable. Dr. Reynolds puts you at ease and he explains what the options are for surgery and the procedure process. My husband and I are very pleased with our lens replacement surgery. 100% success.

I was scheduled for eye-surgery, and was informed ahead of time about a $500 facility fee that would need to be paid as part of the surgery. I was curious about why that wouldn't be included or covered by insurance (or at least apply to an insurance deductible), but I was initially happy to schedule the surgery anyway despite my questions so I could address a long-time problem I've been having. A few days before the surgery, they called me to collect a credit card payment over the phone. Having worked in the payments industry for nearly 15 years, I strongly dislike sharing PCI data over the phone, especially since I have no assurance that they're PCI compliant. I requested an invoice and an opportunity to pay online, which I would have happily done within minutes. An invoice would have: 1. Provided me a paper-trail and an explanation of the cost with a medical billing code, as well as allowed me to have a document that I could take to my insurance company (or co-insurance company) and make coverage inquires. 2. Allowed me to at least submit my payment over an encrypted source. I received obstinate rejections and the "insurance specialist" made no attempt to accommodate my modest request. I'm paraphrasing here, but one of the responses was, "Why should I have to type something up that I've already explained to you verbally?" It is not unreasonable to have an itemized invoice or e-bill from a business before submitting payment. In the year 2025, it's also not unreasonable to have an expectation to be able to remit payment electronically. Maybe others are okay with this, but I am not.

This has been the best experience. The doctors, nurses and staff had been so helpful. My cataract surgery went very smoothly. I couldn't be happier. Both the Georgetown and Cedar Park offices are welcoming. A special thank you to my eye Dr. Jacob Reynolds. Him and his team are the best.

The results of my Cataract surgery was the best. Dr. Reynolds performed my surgery and is the best Doctor I could ask for. I would recommend Dr. Reynolds for all of your eye needs. His staff are very knowledgeable during the exams and are easy to work with.

Update: It has been over 1 month since my cataract surgery was completed and it has not only improved my vision but my entire life as well! Recommend... OPT FOR UPGRADE LENSES. IT'S AMAZING! Dr. Reynolds is totally awesome! He is a kind and compassionate. He takes his time to answer questions or address any concerns you have. I am very blessed to have him as my Dr. Thank you Dr. Reynolds! My surgery was flawless and the results are amazing! Highly recommend Dr. Jake Reynolds and Texas Vision!
