I first went to the clinic in Austin. There I realized there was one in Kyle where I live. The staff here was very helpful. Answered all my concerns and was very courteous. Dr. Scott took the time to explain to me what he found and how to manage it. I really appreciated that. Overall I had a nice experience there. And I'll recommend them to anyone who ask.

Appointment was scheduled for 2pm. Checked in 30 minutes early, Waited 30 minutes before my name was called. Eye test was done prior to seeing the doctor. Waited another 30 minutes before seeing the doctor. Maximum 5-10 minutes testing by the doctor. In closing I assume patients are told to be prepared to allow 2 hrs for this appointment. Obviously over booking appointments causes long wait times.

I have been taking my elderly mom to the Howerton clinic for 6 years. This year she turned 96y. Dr Torres has been so courteous to both of us and so gentle with her. The clinic staff is knowledgeable and also very understanding of Mom's +2 one wheelchair and a rollator walker and my dear son literally drives us around from doctor to doctor. I highly recommend the Howerton Clinic for your eye needs.

It was just ok. They made the lady who started my exam go home in the middle of my appointment. She was great. The lady who finished my exam was good too. Dr. Torres mumbled throughout my appointment. I don't know how the person assisting her taking notes understood a thing she said. And I told the lady who started my exam I needed a RX for Tobradex & Dr. Torres didn't bother with it. I felt like I got a good exam across the table, but other things were lacking. The ladies at the front desk were not friendly at all & spoke another language in front of customers. So rude.

This was my first time at the Howerton Eye Clinic. The staff was excellent from when I walked into the office until my exam was complete. I was taken to the first eye exam at my appointment time and everything went well. All my questions were explained answered completely. The examinations were done very professionally without delay.
