Dr. J. Christian Berry

My husband and I both have Dr Christian Berry as our Optometrist and have been receiving our annual eye checks with him. We are exceptionally pleased with Dr Berry and his team of support professionals. They send appt reminders, and we have never experienced any appt delays. Dr Berry goes above and beyond to educate us on aging eye issues and treatment. The entire team has been extremely respectful and professional. Highly recommended if you're looking for an optometrist!

Drs. Berry both Mark and most recently, Christian, have been have been guiding my glaucoma care for a decade or more. Both are caring, intelligent, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and consummate professionals. In the years they've worked with me I never felt rushed or diminished. Thank you. You have both been a blessing in your care for me. Most recently Dr C recommended a surgical procedure to lower the pressure in both eyes. The very thought of my eyes being invaded by surgical instruments is unnerving. Dr Berry carefully and clearly, walked me through my options, what to expect from the procedure, risks and likely outcomes. I took his advice, scheduled the procedure and awaited its arrival with mild dread. The surgery went as expected. No detail was overlooked or rushed. His team was efficient, caring and professional. The actual procedure was nearly anticlimactic. I was in surgery less than a half hour and everything went according to plan. He even addressed a burgeoning cataract issue (while he as there). The next day during follow up the attendant ran me through the eye chart. I noticed immediately and unexpectedly, that I was breezing my way through it. The attendant indicated we were finished, turned and began typing results. "So, what's the verdict?" I inquired. "20/20", she said, almost in passing. 20/20! I hadn't scored 20/20 on an eye exam since the Nixon administration. I was stunned. I let Dr Berry know how pleased and astonished I was! I told him his mom should be proud. Glaucoma is not fun. It's serious business and there is always the prospect of it worsening. Mine is plenty bad and we are working together to make it no worse. I have absolute confidence that with his guidance and care, I have the greatest chance of living the rest of my life experiencing my world with sight. It's a blessing.

We were seen promptly and all the staff were extremely kind, courteous and knowledgeable. We had no issues with our insurance being processed and Dr. Christian Berry was wonderful during our visit as well. He explained my son's condition and treatment plan thoroughly. We will recommend this practice to anyone who needs ophthalmologic care.

I have been a patient at Alamo City clinic for many years, as were my parents before me. We have always had the best care from Dr Jon Mark Berry. I was pleased to see his son, Dr Christian Berry, this time around. As always, a professional experience as well as a very pleasant one. ..

My wife and I have had numerous procedures done and have been quite satisfied with all of them. The staff and the doctors are all very helpful. They take time with you and they don't make you feel like you're just a number. We're very happy with them. We will be returning for years to come.

Dr Berry is great, he allows you weigh in on what needs to be done and gives through information to make decisions. The staff if great also!

Dr. Berry did my cataract surgery and I was very pleased. He's done the follow up and I think he's a terrific doctor. I highly recommend.
