Retina Consultants of Texas: Livingston

My very first visit, loved it!!! I drove over 3 hours to be seen by them - after going to 3 local specialists for over 3 years - who told me they did not care to address my issues, at least until my vision had continued to degrade much further. I was not referred here by anyone. I needed to find medical professionals with exceptional credentials. I did my homework and chose to schedule with Dr. Wong. But since I didn't know whether this would be another dead-end, I chose to have the consult done in this satellite office instead of driving all the way into Houston. The staff was friendly and efficient. I never felt rushed, but I didn't have to sit for long periods between tests & screening. Hurray! The office is located in a little office strip. Very simple and "just get the job done". But it was fully staffed by lovely people, highly equipped for testing, and clean and pleasant. And one of Dr. Wong's first questions after reviewing my tests was, "Hasn't anyone offered to help you with this?" (Music to my ears!) He stated my retinal problems were significant enough that I would not even be employable in some occupations. I have been aware, but locally I was told to deal with it. Finally, someone with the expertise to help me. I found him to be professional, concise and patient-oriented. I highly recommend this office.
