Dr. Smith is absolutely amazing! He takes the time to explain every single detail!! I have learned so much about my vision, contacts, and overall eye health! I've never had any kind of doctor to take as much time with me! Additionally, his wife Ann runs the front and is personable, thorough, and has a great personality! Highly recommend!

I scheduled my appointment on Saturday 28 2025 and I have to admit that it was by far one of the best experiences I've ever had. A warm welcome, that really made me feel comfortable. Dr. Smith took his time to describe in detail about my condition and the best way to treat it. My only regret is not knowing Dr. Smith before. I would give him a 20 out of 5. Should have left a review last year. Had an eye infection then and went to my primary care doctor in Mansfield. They needed to refer me to a specialist. It was off hours so they weren't sure if anyone would be available. The only eye doctor available was Dr. Smith. Unbeknownst to me great things were in store. Not only was doc available... they could see me NOW! He was also in Mansfield, not far from my primary care physician. I arrived, the receptionist (his wife), welcomed me in... very kind lady. Doc saw me immediately. It was as if they were waiting on me. Dealing with your eye, can make you a little jumpy or skittish, but not with doc! He explained the infection, ran some tests, gave me some eye drops from the office and called in a prescription. He provided detailed instructions on when to use the drops and scheduled a follow up in a few days. His "bedside" manner was a TEN... very kind, informative, and thorough! We had small talk about sports, his ranch, etc. The BEST Doctor I've ever been a patient of, hands down! Both Dr. Smith and his wife are the salt of the earth people!

Really enjoyed the experience with Dr. Smith! I took my 6 year old to be examined as he failed his school exam. Well his exam at school was not exactly accurate. I love how Dr. Smoth took his time and really exalted my sons eyes and fully explained what exactly is going on with his eyes. My daughter has an appointment soon and I will be making an appointment for myself!

my annual eye exams! Extremely thorough and although he may seen like an "old time" doc, including being housed in Historic Mansfield, he uses the latest technology. He showed me images of my eye that showed vitreous content using an ocular ultrasound - better to spot vitreous opacities, hemorrhages, retinal detachments, tumors, foreign bodies, and other issues. Great care and service- highly recommend!

Dr. Smith genuinely cares about his patients and takes time to ensure that they understand key details surrounding their health. Couldn't ask for more! Ann runs a tight ship.

Dr. Smith and his wife are heaven sent. I've never in my life met people who are so humble. Dr. Smith is so patient with you and treats you like a relative. I am so grateful to have been connected to this great doctor and his wife. You can tell that Dr. Smith has a passion for what he does.
