While this was a new place to me, it was pleasant. The front desk was welcoming, not long to wait since i had an appointment. The eye technician was kind and efficient. Dr. Nguyen was so sweet, warm and very knowledgeable in her answers as well as information. Moving through through the whole exam process was less scary for me since the last time at another place. I really liked the new machine that replaced the eye puffer!
I do think that there should be more than one or two selections from my insurance that are within my price budget on display and not in the back for me to look at. We will see the out come once they arrive. I did choose some very nice looking frames & hope to have them within 3 weeks.

I've been going to Texas State Optical for the last few years, and hands down this place is the best! The entire staff is always so kind, polite, and professional. Every visit they make me feel welcome and truly valued as a patient.
And Dr. Masters is without a doubt the best eye doctor I've ever been to and I've seen plenty throughout my life. She has such great energy, is incredibly kind, and always makes my experience wonderful. I was honestly having a really bad day before my appointment today, and she completely turned it around and made my day so much better.
Because of the care and positivity I experience every time I visit, I honestly refuse to go anywhere else or see any other doctor. I highly recommend Texas State Optical and Dr. Masters to anyone looking for exceptional eye care!

I had such a wonderful experience at my appointment with Dr. Masters. From start to finish, the entire team was professional, kind, and incredibly thorough.
The staff member who handled my intake and initial exam (before Dr. Masters came in) was exceptional. She took her time going through my full health history, asked thoughtful questions, and made me feel completely heard. You can tell when someone genuinely cares -- and she absolutely does.
Dr. Masters herself was excellent. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I never felt rushed, and I truly felt like I was receiving thoughtful, high-quality care.
It's rare to leave a medical appointment feeling this impressed -- but I did. Highly recommend Dr. Masters and her team!

I absolutely love Texas State Optical Mansfield! Dr. Prapta is the best doctor I have ever had. We have been going to this practice for over 10 years. Every employee that we have ever encountered have been the kindest, most helpful, thorough health care staff. Special shout out to Claudia, Kane, Kali and Joshua for assistance and laughter as I got through trying on 12 pairs of glasses!
And as always Dr. Prapta thank you for being the most thoughtful, thorough and knowledgeable eye doctor that I have ever had. I have been wearing glasses since I was 20 and I was born in 1970 so you know I have had many! But I will never trade you! :)
