My same complaint has to do with the required eye exams for glaucoma and mascular degenerative disease. Never will be back again. Make people aware when they call before hand of this requirement. Beyond that, the staff is unprofessional and present unprofessional. You can tell new management has come behind the old. Your optometrist is no better making smart comments when I informed her I was already aware of these diseases. The only pleasant staff was the lady that was a MA in college. Very very sweet girl. She will go very far in life. It won't be long until another management team will be behind yall. You can tell who is money hungry and is stretching any way means possible to keep this business open. Imagine making at least 54 dollars per exam on this "requirement" plus other costs. A joke.

I scheduled Saturday appointments for my family and was required to pay a deposit upfront to confirm, which I was told would apply to any out of pocket costs. Since our insurance covers exams with a $10 copay per person, I expected a smooth process.
However, upon arrival, we were told a 3D Retina Scan was mandatory for the whole family, costing an additional $145 total. When I explained that we are not high-risk and only needed our annual exams for prescriptions, the staff told me this fee was not optional. It is not about the amount, it is the principle. This "required" fee should have been disclosed when I paid the deposit over the phone, not after we had already arrived and wasted our Saturday morning. I requested my deposit back and left. I recommend asking about hidden "mandatory" fees before booking here.

I recently called Visionworks and asked them to replace a pair of glasses for my daughter. I was told multiple times that I already used my warranty for the year. I literally have not set a foot into Visionworks since picking up my ONE pair of glasses. Yet I was told that picked up a replacement pair on Veterans Day of all days which could not be further from the truth. Now I am told I must go into the store to talk to the manager who they don't know when they will be there or what time their shirt starts. Yet I have to go in to fix a mistake that was not mine. I will be using a different location going forward. By far the worst customer service I have experienced when it was a clear cut company/system error. I would not recommend them at all.

She showed me a great range of frames and gave very honest opinions. All this with a great smile and laugh! Who would have said that going to buy eyeglasses would be a fun outing?
