Dr Beardsley's Super Optical

I've been going with Dr. Beardsley from over 3 yrs. This time I decided to make a review because the receptionist really deserves more credit, she has been very helpful going above and beyond. This time I took my daughter with them for the first time and she was extremely attentive and making sure she was comfortable, for that, I'm beyond thankful. I'm bad with names, but I think her name is Adriana. Thank you so much again.

Terrible service by all personnel and staff, and it all stems from the "manager", Audrey. She needs to learn how to speak and be professional when working in this type of environment. You all are rude, disrespectful and in no way knowledgeable towards your own selective products. Too bad I already ordered and paid for my damn glasses. Goodbye Beardsley's.

Don't recommend they take to long for service going on two weeks still waiting for my eyeglass I bought from them. They also don't have many selections very limited. For the eye exam is ok but recommend buying the actual glasses else where unless you wish to be left in the dark as to when your glasses will be better. As of now there is a notice posted closed until Aug 26 today is Aug 28 the office is still closed.

SCAM! The lady who assisted me stated I had to pay over 180 out of pocket because my insurance did not cover the glasses. I asked for my prescription to get a second opinion and the lady stated the prescription is no good elsewhere and it's pointless to get it. However I was able to obtain it and came to Walmart and I did not pay anything out of pocket because my insurance covered it at 100%

They had improved now the rude lady is rude again...its gone eay down again.....the docs are good so i go there for an exam....50% of shelves missing glasses the look bland...all the nice people not there anymore...quit or fired? the walks in seen before people with appt. at least pricing checking and selection elsewhere..since i need speciality lenses insurance wont cover it appears they drove their customers away

I've been bring my kids here for several years and it seems like year after year it keeps going down hill. The selection in frames went from a wide selection to scarps. They are now charging 4% for paying with cards. Sorry that I'm not carrying around hundreds of dollars to hopefully cover what the final price might be. The straw that broke the camels back is that I'm writing this review while I sit here waiting for the Doctor. It's 2:38pm on 02/04/23 and the appointment time was at 1pm. Those 1.5 hours of waiting time have allowed me to search for alternatives as I've been driving from Harlingen to McAllen. I realize now that this has been a waste of time, gas and money and Dr. Beardsley's Office has brought little to no value for driving this far out and wasting this many resources.

The frames are not cheap, anyways went to pick up my glasses and noticed that the case was not the same brand of the glasses nor did the glasses fit in the case. They told me that this particular frame doesn't come with a case.. That was not told to me when I selected the frame and when I paid nor when I picked up the glasses I had to tell them. There answer was well you can come pick up a bigger case... wow and on top of that they are charging 4% to use debit or credit... NEVER AGAIN!
