Optical Illusion

Took my father today to get his vision checked and Ms. Kate and Dr. Alvarado went above and beyond to make this a such a wonderful experience, taking the time explain thoroughly and to really listen to all his concerns. After a surgery gone wrong and not so great experience at a different place; my dad is actually comfortable to get his eyes checked again. Thank you so much for your patience and dedication to all you do, everyone in this office is amazing.

I cannot recommend Dr. Alvarado enough! She is incredibly kind and compassionate, which makes every appointment a breeze. Beyond her great bedside manner, she is clearly very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. I always leave feeling well-taken care of and confident in my eye health.

Dr Alvarado was awesome with my eyes visit. Felicia, the office manager Help me to Look beautiful with my new glasses and and Carlos the technician worked fast got them within the same day. Thank you Optical Illusion.

Dr suggested I take a weaker prescription because my insurance wouldn't cover my actual prescription, which seemed pretty unprofessional but I had already paid for the insurance for 2024 so..... I paid everything I needed to out of pocket after insurance covered the frames and received my glasses 2 weeks later. they didn't even come with a case or a lens wipe, which I don't know if that's common but it just left a bad taste for me and I can't truly recommend this place. overall, the staff was nice, but I won't be returning to this practice except to maybe tighten the frames since they keep sliding down my face.

Their the worst place and after I get my daughters contact will never return to them again. 2 months just to get trial based contacts with no status or updates other then 2-3 weeks, to get her actual contacts is gonna be what another 2months don't have faith in this place and now I remember why I won't go. Then I asked for a call back and they send me a text instead super unprofessional and disgrace. DO BETTER!

My daughter, who has autism, had such a wonderful experience with Dr.Alvarado. She was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding throughout the entire visit. She took the time to make my daughter feel comfortable and safe, and she explained everything clearly . It's not always easy to find doctors who truly understand how to work with children with special needs, but Dr. k Alvarado exceeded all of my expectations. She was able to carefully determine exactly what my daughter needed, and I left the appointment feeling reassured and supported. I'm so grateful we found her and would highly recommend her to any family especially those with children who may need a little extra care and patience

So I had an appointment then I got a text it was cancelled due to bad weather. Then they called me if I was going in for appointment. I told them I had a cancellation notice. They said go ahead and come in anyway. I went in and they said I was late for my appointment so they couldn't take me in. WOW! The rude lady at the counter advising me to have a blessed day just to brush it off. Don't waste your time. There's plenty of eye care places that REALLY care.

went in for contacts, got trials for a week, told the dr they felt off, she gave me other ones for 4 days, felt discomfort again, told her, she then had me try on a different pair, within 3 mins of them on, i saw even worse than before, had a genuine question about my dry eyes possibly affecting contact lenses vision and the "dr" alvarado lady told me with a condescending attitude "no, that does not affect contact lenses at all. i told you before that changing the power wouldn't do anything better, the way you're seeing is the best you're gonna get and that's that" and looked at me like i was saying nonsense, she didn't see me for more than a total of 3 minutes before getting annoyed and i was always extremely polite, i didn't want to bother that lady anymore so i just ordered the contacts i got the second time around (still unsatisfied but decided to spend $300 anyway just to get out of their hair) and went about my business. the office was way better and more polite when the amazing Dr. Idelish Gonzalez was around. even the receptionist had an attitude when I went to pick up my temporary lenses today and slammed the paper and pen in front of me to sign my contacts out. this "dr" alvarado has no patience and no politeness, wish i knew where Dr. Gonzalez was, wouldn't have wasted my time with these rude people.
