Dr. Fertig is simply the best! I have been going to him since I was 10 years old (33 now) & he always gets my prescriptions right & solves any issues I may have. I made the mistake of going somewhere else due to an eye issue I had going on, so I went to the nearest location with availability & was quickly disappointed. One visit back with Dr. Fertig & he solved my issue & got my prescription just right! Forever grateful for your services Dr. Fertig & your wonderful staff that makes scheduling easy & is very welcoming & friendly.

Dr.Fertig has been my optometrist since 2014, Not only is he very detailed and patient with his work, but he is a very professional and caring man who will make all his patients feel heard and cared for. There is no better optometrist than Dr.Fertig.

Super happy with my visit here! The doctor was really kind, thorough, and explained everything in a way that actually made sense. You can tell he cares and takes his time. Everyone else was just as great--really patient and helpful. Roxy (the manager) is especially sweet and always willing to help. The wait time was good, and overall the vibe is just really comforting. Definitely recommend!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. My family has known Dr. Fertig for many years, and we've trusted him with our vision care without hesitation. I've followed him through different practice locations, and even now--after moving to another city--I still travel over 6 hours just to see him. That's how much I value his expertise and care. Dr. Fertig is incredibly knowledgeable, precise, and most importantly, honest. I always leave his office confident that my prescription is accurate and that I've received the best care possible. He never rushes through appointments and takes the time to explain everything clearly, which gives me peace of mind every single time. What truly sets Dr. Fertig apart is not just his medical skill, but his compassion. His genuine humanity and concern for his patients never go unnoticed. It's rare to find a doctor who treats you like a person, not just a chart. His staff also deserves recognition--they're friendly, welcoming, and professional from the moment you walk in. Usually have had a great experience at this office. I like the techs and Dr. Fertig is friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. That being said, today was not a good experience. When I arrived for my 10:30 appointment, there were several walk-ins ahead of me. I signed in on their clipboard and sat down. All the walk-ins were seen ahead of me, so I didn't get to go in to see Dr. Fertig until 11:47. You know when you're a walk-in, you get seen between appointments because patients with appointments are seen at their appointment time. Not here. What's the point in making an appointment if you're just going to go in the order on the clipboard? There's also no where on the clipboard to specify if you have an appointment or are a walk-in. I really like Dr. Fertig so my hope is that by the time of my next yearly appointment something changes and this office gets a better system to honor a patient's appointment time. For now, my advice is to just show up because they're going to go by the order on their clipboard anyway.
