I was scheduled in early October, made it to my appointment only to find out that the retina specialist weren't even there that day. They rescheduled me for November, and I finally got to see a doctor. This doctor mentioned that I had a lot of problems with my vision and that I should be seen in a week's time. The receptionist did not care she scheduled it for the Friday after Thanksgiving. I asked if they would be open that day and they assured me that it would be. They called me the Wednesday before Thanksgiving to tell me that they were going to be closed on Friday or that the doctor wasn't going to be there that day, I even told them " I knew this would happen" it just sounds like they didn't care. I told them to give me any freaking appointment they wanted, as far as I can tell they never scheduled me, at all. This happened with the doctor that I had prior, but that's for a different review. Haven't seen very well out of my left eye since March of 2025. I'm a veteran and get seen through a voucher, which is the same thing as insurance. I'm trying not to lose my vision but everywhere I go I seem to get the runaround, and yes, it's most likely going to be a four to five hour wait, pretty sad. I sure miss my old retina specialist who retired at the end of 2024. He was the best retina specialist I have ever had and probably ever will.

They take so long to get seen. We literally waited 4 hrs . After seeing dr shekoh they send u to the front for an appointment receptionist don't give u an appointment card cause supposedly the appointment they set u up for has to be approved by manger and then they say we will give u a call a day or two before appointment and they don't. Really bad service I don't recommend to anyone at all!!! That was my appointment time went in at 830 didn't get out till 1230 so ridiculous

I work in a medical clinic and this clinic very much disappointed me. I had an appointment at 2 got there at 1:40 and by 6 was still waiting to see the Doctor. I asked the nurse how much longer and she said 7 more patients ahead so about another 3 hours. I told her I was late to get my kids and without a care said ok I will cancel you. Yet through the 4 hours I had waited the front staff just laughed very loudly and had a dandy ole time while everyone waited hours to be seen. Very very unprofesional but at least we got crackers and juice. This clinic has no courtesy or care for their patients because over 4 hrs waiting is completely ridiculous. This is the same company under the name Gulf Coast Eye Institute.

This clinic has way too many patients and needs a better scheduling process. We arrived at 4:00 pm for my mother's 4:30 pm appointment. At 6:30 p.m. she was still waiting to see the doctor. The clinic isn't even open anymore and she's still inside, waiting. The disregard for their patient's time is ridiculous. Switching her doctor as soon as possible.

My big brother had an appointment at 3. We drop him off then go do some stuff. We come back 2 hours later and we wait 30 more minutes. My mom sends a text to my brother asking if he got seen by the specialist. He replies back around 6 saying that he hasn't seen the specialist. It's already gonna be 7. Ridiculous wait time especially if the building closes at 5.

Avoid this practice if you can. I've been taking my grandmother her for about 2 years. The average wait time can be 1-2 hours. There are times when we wait in the waiting room for 3 hours to be called. They over schedule consistently and the office often have people standing due to overcrowding. Expect your appointment to be a minimum of 2 hours to possibly 5 hours. I will be filing a complaint with the Texas medical board for the mistreatment of patients and over scheduling.

Canceled my appointment without telling me even after rescheduling. Showed up and the "supervisor" said she listened to the call but threatened to call police because they Canceled without informing a patient and passing the blame. Would suggest going elsewhere for a better experience
