I really enjoyed my office visit everyone here was so nice . Luis was very helpful with my visit he answered all my questions I had . I have been going to other places. But none of them have such a professional and very nice staff like Key Whitman. Everyone had a smile and really care about there patients to get what they need .Definitely recommend them to my family and friends.

The visit was awesome. I've been going to the Mesquite location for years but this time I met Dee for the first time. She did my visual field testing, and although I had the test before, no other tech explained it the way she did. She was so patient, kind and detailed in letting me know what to expect. She makes u feel so valued as a patient. Would recommend this location just to experience working with Dee. She was awesome! Thanks Dee for making my visit, a very good one.

I'm very disappointed with the Key Whitman Eye Center in Mesquite. I arrived early and the front desk staff wasn't courteous or professional at all. I checked in, and waited for an hour. Everyone else was called to the back to receive treatment. They also allowed a beggar with sores on their body to walk around harassing clients for money. I was the only person left sitting in the waiting area and I decided to leave the facility. No one contacted me with any explanation. I won't be returning to that location. It's sad to receive rude and hateful treatment in a place that's supposed to help you better your health...

I really like the doctors. Dr Lee is great. She was so helpful in advising me about my cataract surgery. She did a wonderful job with the surgery. I also want to compliment Dr Robertson. He was awesome during my follow up visit. He answered my questions. He was thorough with the exam. His light hearted manner helped relieve my worries about my recovery. Thank you for providing such excellent care.

My first visit here or to any eye doctor and when I saw several people waiting ahead of me in the waiting room I was prepared for a long wait. I was very pleasantly surprised that not only was I seen within 10 minutes of arrival, but every person I cam into contact with from the desk, to the assistants to the doctors were fast, friendly and professional. Treatment seems started to help immediately and there was no pressure up sell or sell me products on site. Discount cards were provided for prescriptions without asking despite me having insurance. What started as as "closest to me" web search turned out to be a home run. Again, I couldn't be happier with my entire experience. Thanks!

Do NOT use this location. This was one of the worst patient experiences I've ever had. I came in specifically for a diabetic eye exam, and I asked the tech right away if that was the only exam being done. She said yes. That was a lie. Instead, she gave me a full regular eye exam I never requested or consented to. Then they dilated my eyes and stuck me in a crowded holding area with several other people for even more waiting. After a long delay, the doctor came in and rushed through the rest of the exam like he was on autopilot. No explanation, no real interaction. When I checked out, they tried to charge me $114 for a regular exam plus the diabetic exam -- even though I only scheduled and asked for the diabetic exam. I was then told my insurance "doesn't cover the regular exam," which I did NOT authorize in the first place. When I questioned it, they blamed "scheduling." When I asked about insurance, I was told, "you'll have to call them." They had my insurance cards in their hands. They should have verified everything BEFORE doing any additional exams or sticking me with a surprise bill. This isn't a one-time issue -- my mother is also a patient here, and every visit with her meant long waits, excuses, and dismissive staff. This practice has a serious communication problem, a consent problem, and a customer service problem. RUN -- don't walk -- in the other direction.

Worst experience ever. Waited over an hr and have not even been seen by Dr. This is ridiculous. They quick to take your money and put you in a waiting room but then take they time to see you. It's not my fault they have scheduled so many patients. Seems to be all about the money and not the service. Stay AWAY....

I scheduled what should have been a fully covered annual eye exam through my Health First insurance. The office confirmed they were in network, and at no point did anyone mention there would be additional out of pocket costs. After the exam, I was shocked to be billed $268, including charges for a "refraction," retinal imaging, and even an office visit fee, despite this being a routine annual checkup. None of these charges were explained or approved before the services were performed. It feels incredibly misleading to advertise covered eye exams but then quietly code them as medical visits and tack on non covered services. Transparency should not be optional. Patients deserve to know what they're agreeing to before the bill arrives. If you plan to go here, ask for an itemized quote before the exam starts, and make sure you specify you're there for a routine covered eye exam only, or you may end up with a surprise bill like I did.
