Today my wife and I went in for an eye exam and to get new glasses, and we had a great experience. We highly recommend this place!!everyone was very friendly and welcoming Dr. Charles was excellent and took the time to explain everything clearly. They also have a wide selection of glasses brands to choose from. We will definitely be coming back!

Worst optometrist experience in my whole life. I had an appointment set up and showed up about 5 min early to get whatever paper done. It took over an hour just to get back with the doctor. I was needing just a quick eye exam for a new contacts prescription and I have never felt so ignored or put aside. Why have am appointment when it takes up half my day anyways? In total it took 1.5 hours from walking in to leaving.

If you have a child with special needs this is not the place for you!!!!! Worst experience ever at a doctors office. The wait time was absolutely ridiculous, well over an hour and a half!!! I told them when I made the appointment that my child has special needs and cannot wait crazy long times and be able to cooperate for an eye exam they told me no problem at all. After waiting 45 minutes I asked how much longer and reminded them that he has special needs and they just kept giving him candy. Then when the Dr finally was able to see him she grabbed my child rudely to make him sit still when it was her fault for running behind schedule. She then proceeded to tell me he has issues with his eyes but in her opinion as a mother that we shouldn't do anything about it. Definitely will not be back and will be telling everyone about this ridiculous experience with this office!!

Hello everyone! I wanted to share with all of you my experience at Philips Eye Clinic in Midland,TX. I had an appointment with Dr. Stephanie Wilson and she treated me with care, compassion and respect, she took time to explain everything that was going on with my eyes and gave me great news that my vision had improved! I felt very blessed to have met her. Dr. Wilson is a very intelligent, respectful professional and she really cares alot about all of her patients present and new. Her staff is very caring and helpful, they make you feel very welcomed. I highly recommend Dr. Wilson for all your eye care needs! My previous eye doctor treated me very ugly and shunned me because I was buying my contacts from 1-800 contacts, I only did it because they were at a cheaper price but he got angry and ran me off. I kept looking for another eye doctor for weeks and I almost lost all hope until I found Dr. Wilson and she welcomed me and made everything better for me. Please go see Dr. Wilson and I promise you that you will not regret it. Dr. Wilson is an awesome person, I wish we had more people like her in this world because it would make it a better place to live in! Thank you very much Dr. Wilson!!!

Should be zero stars. Optical staff was TERRIBLE. Walked around for about 30 minutes before I had to ask for help. 4 employees sitting behind the desk and no one offered any assistance. When I asked for help, rude and acted as if I was bothering them. Walked out and will bring my business elsewhere. Terrible experience.

Dr Philips and his staff are best in town! purchased glasses & contacts twice. Always very professional and thorough. Super pleased with my experiences with their team. Was told by another in town I couldn't wear contacts. (False) Also they never give me an issue about being a "cash pay" !! Just good people all around!

I have been going to Dr. Philips for most of my life. The last few years, I have had some issues with them that made me want to switch. They charge $50 per person to cancel an appointment same day even if you are sick. They will not let more than two family members come per day which is hard when I have 3 in my family that require glasses. I paid over 1k last year for a pair of glasses and they did not work. The prescription was off. I was told my eyes would adjust but I've been wearing glasses my whole life and never had that problem. Charging me that much money to reschedule when sick is just gross.

The doctor is great but the rest of the staff isn't. I don't recommend going here if you are getting glasses. We spent almost a grand with insurance and once I got my glasses they were not wearable. They tried to claim it's because I didn't get the anti glare but I've never had a problem with glasses in the past. They refused to fix them or offer any solution and said I'd have to spend another $300 to have them remade. Update: After leaving the office I called my insurance and they told me that I should have 1 redo that doesn't cost me or the doctor office anything. While I was on the phone with my insurance they called the doctors office and asked why this wasn't offered. My insurance said they would call their lab and ask if they could be remade. If yes, they said they would call me to let me know. (I'm not sure why this wasn't offered in the first place) After a full week of waiting we finally just reached out and asked on the update. They said it had been approved and I just needed to drop them off. Again, why did they not call me to tell me? I had my husband drop them off because I would not have handled their attitude as well as he would. We were told it would be about $40. Once they arrived they called and said it was $100. Again I sent my husband to pick them up to avoid any confrontation. They had no explanation as to why it was so much more. When he was leaving one of the girls had the nerve to go up to him and say, "if your wife has any problems she can just drop them off and we will fix them". Again this was done with attitude. He politely reminded them that we had to have our insurance fight for us to get them fixed this time. This is the exact reason I sent him, because I would have matched their energy. I get the newly made glasses and of course the problem still exists. (Chromatic aberration). Not only did they gas light me in to thinking it was an anti glare problem and that it was because I didn't wear glasses. They didn't try to fix them until we fought it, and they still had attitude after we got them. Absolutely disgusting customer service. We will just go to another office to get the problem fixed.
