This was by far the most thorough eye exam I've ever had. The front desk wasn't very warm (not rude, just a bit stale), which briefly made me question the reviews--but that changed completely once I saw Dr. Nguyen. She explained everything as if it were my first time wearing glasses and contacts, and you can truly tell she loves what she does. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a new eye care provider.

The doctor herself was great. Very kind, professional, and thorough. Unfortunately, the billing and front office experience completely overshadowed that. I came in for a routine eye exam to update my glasses and contact prescription. My insurance clearly covers a basic eye exam, and I approved a small additional charge for retinal imaging. At no point was I told there would be an extra contact lens fitting fee, nor was I asked for consent or given a choice to decline it. After the visit, I was surprised with an additional $60 charge that was never disclosed beforehand. When I questioned it, I was told it was "required by insurance" and that nothing could be done, and that I should call insurance myself to try to resolve it. The office would not even attempt to assist or escalate on my behalf. This feels like going in for an oil change and being told afterward that your brakes were replaced too, with no discussion beforehand. Again, the doctor was very nice, but the way billing and communication are handled is disappointing. Be very careful here. Ask detailed questions upfront, because extra fees may be added without explanation. I would not recommend this office unless you are comfortable risking unexpected charges.

Great friendly staff, walked in early before my appointment time and was able to get seen right away. Dr Nguyen, is amazing super friendly and knowledgeable. Explained everything in simple easy terms to understand. And gave samples and tips on what to do with my eye situations. Ty guys appreciate everyone's support.

Cane to get my son glasses and I had a great experience, Sherebiah and Sabrina helped out alot. Very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back to get my glasses next.

Took my brother for his annual check up/new prescription & I was very impressed. The techs and Optometrist,Dr. Jessica Nguyen were exceptional. This had to have been the most thorough examination he's ever received. Kudos team!!!

Staff is very good. Not good experience with Dr. I think I didn't get a good attention to my questions. I was recommended to use old or new prescription whatever want, now I do see these both are different. I am not sure how if things are different, they could be considered as same? Not happy with services. I went assuming it's part of visionworks. I should be visiting back to my original eye doc. Thanks

It was my pleasure to meet a charmingly friendly Dr. Emily Wang & staff today at Eyedoc Vision Services in Pearland. The office was neat, clean and organized. I was seen in a reasonable amount of time and everyone was friendly and professional. Unfortunately I received some news that wasn't the best, however the Dr presented the information in a palatable manner. I'm looking forward to my follow up appointment in a few days regarding my condition. I definitely recommend this location to others and will continue to patronize then myself.

1st The conversation with him is so down to earth and feels so genuine. He has compassion on top of truthfulness. I first started going to Dr. Chin, after my excellent visit, I switch my Husband from Berkeley eye center to here. Berkeley is great no problems but I wanted him to come and experience. Now we are permanent patients. My son n daughters are next. Wait! for those of u, who are like me (inpatient), majority of my visits are in and out. But if u meet him and see how invested in your care he is, YOU WILL WAIT!
