By far the absolute BEST in the state of Texas! Dr. Lisa Thomas and her team have provided my family and me the most comprehensive and stellar eye care for years. Her expertise and thoroughness give us complete confidence. We trust her completely with something as important as our vision. Every visit is professional yet personable, and she takes the time to explain everything clearly. We're truly grateful for her knowledge, skill and genuine care for her patients.

It's not very often that I come across a medical practice that I am very satisfied with. Eye & Optics surpassed my expectations. I literally came here through a Google search and my insurance provider's website, and I'm glad it was a right pick. To be short and simple - Dr. Lisa Thomas knows her stuff! I have never had an optometrist explain things to me the way she did. The other doctors I've been to before would basically run the test on the machine and punch out numbers, and that's it. Dr. Thomas' attention to details was evident to me when she had an eye test redone only because she wanted to confirm something. My only gripe is that I wish the place would offer a wider selection of frames that are more budget-friendly. I think the least expensive one I found was $270. That's a problem for me when my insurance covers only $130. Add the glasses, coating, etc. and the bill was higher than I had planned for. Nevertheless, I'm very pleased with my visit and I'm happy to give this place a five-star rating.

The experience started off very negatively but they made up for it and I would be willing to give this practice another chance. The negatives:The doctor was over 30 minutes late to see my infant when we came 20 minutes early. This was a morning appointment. I wasn't told that the dilation drops would take 45 minutes to work so my appointment at 9:30am ended up finishing at a lot later than anticipated. The positives: the doctor was patient and explained everything and more. She had a great bedside manner and apologized for the delay and explained why she was late to the appointment (had to deal with an upset patient). She acknowledged that her front staff should have told me about the dilation process and how long it would take and waived that exam fee. Feedback: for new pediatric patients, please tell them about how long the appointment will take with dilation. And if running late, have the assistant put the drops while waiting for doctor

Dr. Thomas and and her staff are amazing! I have been taking my grandbaby there for 6 years, she loves going. I would recommend her to anyone especially if you have a kiddo that you believe has vision problems and are getting run around with other Doctors.

My husband and I are long-time and enthusiastic patients of Eyes & Optics. Dr. Thomas is an incredible combination of deep knowledge and deep compassion. She's seen me through several emergency eye situations and has always been there for us, no matter what. Last week, right in the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl, I got something lodged in my eye that was scratching my cornea and making it bleed. (The Dracula look. So awesome. I will spare y'all the photos.) Brianna and Kathryn were warm and compassionate and worked hard to get me seen even though they were extremely busy. (Such smiles. Such kindness.) Dr. Mascardo was filling in for Dr. Thomas, and he was wonderful. Let's face it: no one wants to have anyone rooting around in their eye to dig out a foreign object. Dr. M had great skill and great gentleness in getting the boulder (sorry, I meant object) out from under my upper eyelid. The fact that I healed so rapidly is testimony to the great care I received. You will not find better eye care in the Houston area than Eyes & Optics. A++++.

The very best eye doctor around! We drive 35 minutes just to go to my daughter's appointment and I don't ever regret making Dr. Thomas my children's eye doctor. She helped my daughter immensely already with her vision! I had been taking her to Texas Children's prior to this and it was no where near the attention to detail, kindness and care given to us by Dr. Thomas. I recommend her to everyone!!! Every visit has been pleasurable. The people are always so kind and helpful. I leave smiling after every visit. Additionally, they are very knowledgeable. Dr. Thomas was even able to help my wife, with life long vision problems. Now that my eyes are aging, I feel confident I will have the best quality service available.
