First visit Jan 2026. Nice clean place with many lovely frames. The people involved in care were great, assistant testing and Dr. first people out front were helpful as in telling me to go sign in at desk. After exam, an employee called me up to desk to inform me that my insurance covered only the exam. New lenses every 2 years. This location is labeled as a premier edge location for VSP.
I stated that was a drastic and unexpected change in my insurance. She just nodded and did not offer to recheck, I trusted she knew what she was talking about. She was wrong, they missed a sale. I agree with another reviewer. It's the front office staff who lose customers for a practice.

It's always the people at the front desk that have no business, no class, no decorum, and all the UNprofessionalism that run these hard working doctor's practices into the ground. To the front personnel, you are not doing us (the patients/public) any favors, but merely doing the job you applied for. You're not paying us, we pay you. Keep your attitudes and nasty behavior at your house.

I recently took my daughter for her yearly exam. We had a wonderful experience. We were greeting by friendly staff at the front desk and the check in process was quick and easy. We were seen in a timely manner and Dr Hilliard took the time after the exam to speak with me and my husband about The results of the exam. The optician, Angie was very patient with my daughter as she on several pairs before making her selections. The glasses arrived in a little less than 2 weeks and they are well made. Look forward to future appointments

Dr.Hillard goes above and beyond to give great care to her patients.She has a wonderful staff, a kind and caring group. Phenomenal as always!! I love my annual visit with Dr Hilliard and she absolutely Nailed my complex prescription--AGAIN! I wore my trials for over 12 hours yesterday, spent 6 hours doing computer work and another 7 hours sewing....reading my pattern guide, inserting and pulling stitches. Looking forward to sharp, comfortable vision again this year!
