My PCP referred me to Dr. Kimberly Warren at Key-Whitman Eye Center for cataract surgery. It proved to be a very good choice. Dr. Warren is very personable and I had complete confidence in her clinical judgement and skills. Everything about the procedures was explained clearly and I had an opportunity to ask any questions. The counselor (Stephanie) explained all my options and went over any financial aspects very clearly. Scheduling the pre- & post-surgery assessments, the surgery itself, and the follow-up visits were efficient and easy. The staff who conducted pre-surgery assessments were very patient, personable, knowledgeable, and professional (especially James, Glenn, and Dr. Jacob). They were very well-versed in the entire process and answered any questions. On the day of surgery, everything went like clockwork. When it was time for the surgery, the nurse (Alli) who brought me into the surgical area, immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease, and inspired confidence that everything would proceed without a hitch. I am very satisfied with the outcome of my surgery.
One of the things about Key-Whitman Eye Center that I appreciated most is that it is very well organized. Although I chose it for a particular doctor, I not only received the services of Dr. Warren, but also the entire team working together in a coordinated fashion to support the patient and doctor. I would highly recommend Dr. Kimberly Warren and Key-Whitman Eye Center.
I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Faisal Haq at KeyWhitman Eye Center. From the moment I walked in, I felt at ease. Dr. Haq is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also has a kind, patient-focused approach that is hard to find. He took the time to answer all my questions and never made me feel rushed. He truly cares about his patients. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for top-tier eye care! Have a GREAT 2026 year to Dr. Haq and his staff!

Clinic: Key-Whitman Eye Center - Plano
I visited Key-Whitman Eye Center on December 1st, 2025, for my eye exam scheduled at 8:10 AM. The reception staff was friendly, and the initial pre-exam performed by Kyle was exceptional. She was incredibly professional, kind, attentive, and made me feel very comfortable throughout the process. Her service was truly outstanding.
Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Faisal Haq, MD was the complete opposite. Both the doctor and his assistant were noticeably cold, disengaged, and showed very little interest in communicating. When I mentioned that my English was not very strong, Dr. Haq responded with "I don't speak Turkish either," and then abruptly ended the interaction and left the room.
This was especially disappointing because earlier in the process, both Kyle and the doctor's assistant had successfully connected me with an interpreter, and communication went smoothly. Since the clinic clearly offers interpreter services, the doctor choosing not to use it and terminating the consultation without explanation felt highly unprofessional and unacceptable.
While I sincerely appreciate Kyle's excellent professionalism and care, my experience with Dr. Faisal Haq made me feel uncomfortable...
My first appointment at Key Whitman Eye Center in Plano was disappointing. The only reason for two stars is Glen, the pre-appointment technician, who was excellent; very knowledgeable, attentive, and helpful. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Ravi was the opposite. The visit felt rushed and impersonal, and I gained far more useful information from Glen than from the physician.
The front office staff appeared very busy. While I wouldn't describe them as rude, they did seem unhappy and the overall atmosphere felt cold and unwelcoming. Perhaps I visited on an off day, but the experience left a poor impression.
After being prescribed medication, I had an allergic reaction and contacted the office three times over the course of six weeks. Despite being advised not to call repeatedly, I never received a response. Due to the lack of follow-up and overall experience, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this eye center.
I recently had cataract surgery beginning with my right eye.
The next day during my post op surgery initial appointment at Key-Whitman Eye Center Frisco office Dr. Jacob immediately identified that I was experiencing extremely high pressure in the surgical eye and referred me immediately over to Dr.Faisal Haq, MD at the Plano office. Dr. HAQ and his team immediately began treating the eye pressure issue and had me followup on Saturday morning at the DALLAS office and then determining the need for further evaluation saw me at the Plano office on Sunday. Dr. Faisal Haq, MD is the best doctor/eye surgeon that I have seen. Very caring and explains everything to you and provides reassurance that the eye pressure will resolve after treatment. On Sunday the pressure had resolved to the point that I didn't need any further treatment. Dr. HAQ reassured me that none of the medications that I am currently taking had an affect on the eye pressure rather I was one of the low percentage of patients that did experience eye pressure as a result of the surgery.
Thank you very much Dr. Faisal Haq, MD and his Assistant Kaylee and Anita Jacob George, O.D. and team for your outstanding service, support and medical care.

My father was scheduled to see Dr. Sadaf for his post op after his cataract surgery.
It was a quite unpleasant interaction. She was very rude. We let it go the first time but then on the second eye's post op it was even worse.
The doc kept us waiting for over an hr past appointment time and upon letting her know that no one came to inform us of any delay and it felt like they forgot, upon mentioning this she told us "I am very busy, when I had time I came". She was very aggressive and disrespectful.
While we do understand the busy schedule of doctors under no circumstance a service provider should engage with a patient with such condescension and disrespectful behavior.
My dad had forgotten about a few drops to be ordered to which she responded with anger and frustration and it felt like she was agitated and angry on the issue.
She did end up resolving it but the interaction as a whole was very disrespectful to the patient.
We would like to bring this to the management's attention and would like to escalate this for improved future interactions.
I've been a patient with Key Whitman, Dr. Haq, since 2008. As I've watched the practice expand over the years, I'm pleased with the attentiveness and care from the staff. The thoroughness that each staff member takes in the care of me as a patient, including the multiple exams, is worth the wait, which hasn't been unreasonable, to ensure excellent care.
I've been going to Key Whitman for 5+ years. I started at their Dallas location and about a year ago transitioned to the Plano location. The services rendered at both locations has been great. However, because of the long wait upon each visit recently, I'm preparing to leave Key Whitman completely or transition to their Allen location. On 918/25 I went to Plano. I was there more than 2hrs and they had not completed all of my eye exams. I told them I had to leave to return to work and would schedule the last eye exam for another day. I scheduled it for 10/3/25. Upon preparing to be examined on 10/3/25, I learned that the exam and updated information I completed on 9/18 was not retained in their records. They wanted me to redo every exam I completed on 9/18, again on 10/3. I was upset about the inconsideration of my time, especially given that I drive from McKinney to the clinic and have to return to work after my exams. If you don't have any issue with long waits when being serviced, this will probably work for you. But not for me.
