I recently had RLE surgery with Dr. Sidney Gicheru, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. From my very first consultation through surgery and post-operative care, the team made me feel informed, supported, and truly cared for.
Dr. Gicheru is highly skilled and took the time to clearly explain the procedure and answer all of my questions. Ashley and David were outstanding!!! They were warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. Their patience and reassurance made the whole process smooth and stress-free.
My results have been amazing, and I'm so grateful for the level of care I received. I highly recommend Dr. Gicheru and his team to anyone considering RLE or vision correction.

The team here is AMAZING! They are also so kind and welcoming. They truly want you to feel comfortable and answered all of my questions. I love this place. Everyone here is very friendly and supportive.
Dr. Gicheru is amazing. I had SMILE surgery done by him, and I didn't feel any pain at all. There was a little pressure and some discomfort in my left eye during the procedure, but it wasn't bad.
After I went home, I didn't feel any pain. I came back to his office the same day for a check-up, and I could already read most things.
Today is the second day, and my vision feels almost normal to me.

This was by far one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a doctor's office. I went for a LASIK consultation and Dr. Gicheru's bedside manner was degrading, demeaning, and completely lacking in empathy. I was spoken to in a condescending tone and made to feel very dismissed .What was equally disturbing was how the doctor treated his own staff. I overheard him talking very harshly and disrespectful to an employee creating an uncomfortable and unprofessional environment. No one should be treated that way--patients or staff.
Healthcare should feel safe, respectful, and humane. This experience was the opposite. I would not recommend this office or physician to anyone seeking compassionate or respectful

After cataract surgery with premium lens, my vision in my right eye is now 20/20. My left eye is scheduled for 10/22/2025 and I cannot wait! I was initially nervous about undergoing the surgery, but thanks to the exceptional staff, I felt very comfortable throughout the process. The doctor was outstanding, explaining each step and informing me about what was happening while I was under the laser. My LASIK recovery was very easy. The first day was probably the most uncomfortable, but by the second day, my eyes felt great. I experienced no pain or dryness. I would definitely recommend this place, and the staff were wonderful as well.
