Pediatric Eyecare of North Texas

Dr. Alex is one of the most caring and knowledgeable pediatric eye doctors we've ever seen. Before coming to this office, we visited several other doctors, but none compared to the level of care we received here. The entire staff--from the front desk to the nurses--is incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. Her team truly makes both parents and children feel comfortable and cared for. We are so grateful to have found this office and highly recommend Dr. Alex and her team.

My son recently had strabismus surgery at Eyecare Pediatric of North Texas, and I can't say enough good things about our experience. The nurses and staff were wonderful -- they were kind, professional, and made both my son and me feel calm and cared for throughout the entire process. I truly appreciate their patience and the way they explained everything to us. Highly recommend this team!

Both Dr. Alex and Dr. Kumar have been so amazing to work with! My daughter is a Micropremie who has eye muscle issues and WE LOVE this clinic and the whole staff! They care about her care so much! And a re patient in explaining everything!

We met with Dr. Alex yesterday and I was genuinely impressed. She was amazing with my son (who's only 5 months old) and she was quickly able to diagnose a condition of his eyelid. My son was calm and relaxed with her and so engaged throughout his exam. I'm very happy we chose her as his eye doctor!

We have had the best experience with Dr. Alex! Our toddler has had to have several eye surgeries, glasses, patching, etc and we have felt supported and cared for the entire time. She always takes time to answer our questions, and she is amazing with our daughter who just adores her. Her assistant, Lilly is also so sweet and kind. The surgical schedulers and front desk are also awesome. Their waiting area is fun and kid friendly with books and games, so it makes for an easy appointment. We highly recommend Dr. Alex and her practice!

Terrible service. I called over the summer after I was referred by a caseworker to them. They scheduled me for 10/21 at 2:15pm and they knew I had Parkland Medicaid. Fast forward to today. I called to confirm my daughter's appointment because I logged in to the patient portal and it stated the appointment was scheduled for 10/23 at 8:15am. I called only to be told they rescheduled me to another day the doctor would be there. I was a little frustrated because no one ever called me or notified me that they needed to reschedule me they just did it. Then come to find out they are no longer taking Parkland Medicaid. Not a good experience and poor lack of communication from them.

The staff is very nice! Dr. Alex saw our daughter in the NICU. We are very pleased with her and her nurse, Nicole!

I was referred here by my pediatrician due to concerns about my child's tear production, and I left feeling extremely disappointed and brushed off. The first doctor who saw us looked disheveled and unprofessional, as if she had just rolled out of bed, and she acted like she didn't care about anything I had to say. When I explained the reason for our visit, she made me feel stupid for even bringing it up. They attempted to put dilation drops in my son's eyes, but he was crying with his eyes closed, and most of the drops went down his face. I'm not sure any even went in. We waited about 20 minutes in the lobby for his eyes to dilate, then another 15 minutes in the exam room before the second doctor came in. The second doctor also seemed completely uninterested in us or his job. He barely spoke, looked at my son's eyes for maybe 30 seconds, muttered a few things, and then gave a vague, half-hearted explanation. He told me everything was fine and sent us on our way without fully explaining the issue or answering my concerns. Overall, it felt like no one there wanted to be working or helping patients that day. We were treated like an inconvenience rather than people seeking care, and I left without the answers or reassurance I was hoping for. I waited 8 months for this appointment and got no answers definitely will not be returning here.
