I had the pleasure of visiting Perception for the first time last week. I traveled from out of state and needed to schedule an appointment. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Dr. Hingrajiya took my concerns seriously and peformed a thorough examination. He patiently answered my questions and explained anything I didn't understand. The level of care here is wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Hingrajiya and Perception!

Amazing staff! From the front of the office to the back everyone was so nice and easy to talk to. The assistance I received on picking my frames for the first time was outstanding and found a pair that I love! Dr. Duong was so nice and full of knowledge and understood/ heard my concerns with my vision while also teaching me things I never knew about my eyes or just eyes in general. I had a very frustrating experience trying to schedule an appointment at this eye clinic. Michael, the manager, made the entire process way more difficult than it needed to be. I was simply trying to book a Neurolens evaluation, but he asked me an excessive amount of questions about why I needed the appointment and even demanded records from my current eye doctor -- which made no sense for this type of visit.
When I mentioned that my eyes are sensitive and I preferred to avoid the tomography scan, he kept pressing me about why and insisted it may be required. Later, another staff member told me she could schedule me under a specialty procedure, which would be covered by my insurance. But shortly after she spoke with Michael, she called me back to say he wouldn't allow it and that I'd have to schedule a routine exam instead -- which includes the exact scan I specifically said I didn't want.
Overall, it felt like unnecessary gatekeeping and lack of understanding or compassion for patient concerns. I left feeling dismissed and completely discouraged from moving forward with care at this clinic.
