Texas Eye MD Dr. David Lu

We have been coming here for 5 years now. We have always had the absolute best experiences with the staff. Since my son first started here at 5 yrs old, to now, almost 10. Today we got there 25 mins early. They took him back and got him out of there before his scheduled appointment time. It took us longer to get our food next door, at sonic, than it did to get in and out of this appointment. Plus, Don, our dr, is always so great with my son. Engaging, kind, and patient with him. Today was the cherry on top of all the experiences we have had at this office. We won the jackpot when we came across this optometrist office. Always the best. Highly recommend. I do not ever leave reviews online. This is too good not to share.

I have been in several times and I wanted to rave about Lindsey. She is so patient, helpful and knowledgeable. Truly a treasure and so much fun to work with. She has a keen sense of what works for your face. The staff is wonderful and helps maximize your benefits.

I've been a patient of Dr Wilhelmus for about 20 years. This is the best eyecare on the planet. It doesn't get any better, trust me. I wear Gas Permiable lens due to astigmatism. My sight is always clear. I absolutely love Dr Wilhelmus and his staff. Thank you for taking care of my eyes.

I had a very bad red eye and I needed to see an ophthalmologist. Fortunately, I called Texas Eye on Spring Creek Parkway and the receptionist set me an appointment the very same afternoon. Thankfully, I met Dr. Liu for the very first time and I was very impressed with his expertise and knowledge. He said I had pink eye and called in my prescription which was ready when I drove back to my part of town in 20 minutes! Just recently, for the past 2 years, I've had to see an optometrist who had Saturday hours and she could treat my pink eye issues. She had trouble fitting me with the right contact lenses for the past 4 months. So, being quite discouraged, I set a new eye exam with Dr. Liu and he quickly diagnosed a cataract in my left eye which explains my problems with my useless contact lenses fittings from my optometrist. From now on, I see only Dr. Liu for my eye exams! A lesson learned!

Dr. David Lu, an honest doctor who takes his time with every person. This means he always runs late but it's worth it when a doctor takes his time to ensure his patient understands and answers all questions. He did a cornea transplant for me and I also go to him for second opinions regarding surgeries other doctors want to perform on me. Dr. Lu is always straightforward and keeps current with the latest technology and research available for eye diseases. I completely trust Dr. Lu for his straightforwardness and truly caring for what's best for his patients. I think it will help this review to mention I've had glaucoma for almost 30 years and have gone through plenty of doctors. He was even honest enough to tell me he thought I needed a different doctor specializing in glaucoma when I asked about switching to him for that. He said he does see glaucoma patients but mine it's so severe it requires a specialist.

I have been "seeing" ha! Dr. Wilhelmus for years as does my father. Always been fantastic to work with as well as his team!

A wonderful doctor! Dr. Lu is Very kind, attentive, explained every single thing he was doing and at the end, even though he could, he did not try to sell me glasses. Told me I didn't need them yet. Great experience and totally recommend

Dr. Wilhelmus is one of the nicest doctors you could ever meet. His daughter at the front desk is very nice and personable as well. The other front staff although I do not deal with them much are always happy to great you when you come in. The lady that helps you with the glasses, is always super nice and helpful. I would recommend this practice to anyone.
