The Eye Place

I have been coming to Dr Fan for a few years but today was a Great day! I scratched my corneas a few yrs ago and they have got worse since then. Even with glasses my vision has been blurry most days! Dr Fan suggested sclera contacts not cheap but well worth it because now my vision is clear! Thank you to Dr Fan and her wonderful staff!

I received great care at this facility and I intend to go to this facility today. They informed me that they cover my medicare insurance and I checked and they told the truth. I had a great experience the first time even though I don't like the glasses second visit was told the glasses were one price only to find out they were twice as much. Showed me a break down after the fact that repeated charges and never gave me copy of said breakdown. They did repair my old glasses with a new frame for no cost. This made me more suspicious of the them. Why would they give me a free frame? Originally I thought I was paying for $59 of upgrade on the new glasses I was purchasing when I saw my credit card purchase it was $359.00, not $59.00. Because of my insurance coverage of $300. I was insulted by the explanation, but I went on with the purchase to quicken the process of obtaining new glasses. My solution is to not do business with them again. I had previously rated them 5 Stars but I would now say buyer beware. This means I purchased new glasses for $718.00 instead of $359.00. My previous pair was much less.

My visit yesterday was really great. A new face was added to the staff and boy she was extremely nice. The Eye Specialist Assistant did rush the exam, and never alerted me prior to blowing in my eye. The Eye Doctor as usual was rushing my exam, and tested the right eye twice. She does watch her staff upfront for accuracy. The justification for this five star belongs to the billing clerk. She was extremely hopeful, and I only returned because of location and Insurance. Also the young man was helpful in verifying insurance coverage for Eye and Glaucoma exam. Overall, I will return in two (2) years.

Dr. Jenny Fan is a capable and caring doctor. My children have gone to her for CRT for 10+ years. CRT can be challenging to fit, especially for teenagers whose bodies and sleep patterns are changing rapidly. My daughter was such a case, but Dr. Fan and her staff worked patiently with us until we got a fit that corrected well. The office staff does their best. Some a patient can take longer, thus causing wait times to be longer for those waiting, but this is understandable. Dr. Fan runs the practice with patients' welfare in mind first and foremost. We are blessed to have her care for our eyes.

What the status of our Lenses and frames it been several weeks +

I originally had given 1 star because of an initial bad experience. However, when Dr Jenny saw it, she immediately reached out and made everything right. That goes a long way these days! It's getting more and more rare for people to care about an upset customer. She really cares and shows it.

Dr. Fan did a great job taking care of my eye condition. She was even open when it was 11 degrees and snowing outside! (Don't worry, she let her staff stay home that day.)

My husband and I have been going here since we moved four years ago. Both of us use glasses. The office is clean, the staff is friendly, great glasses options, and overall excellent care.
