Vision Source Plano

I definitely recommend Dr. Malone. He was incredibly knowledgeable regarding my vision-related concerns. Also, one of the techs, Lilly, was so helpful and super sweet! She helped me find the PERFECT pair of glasses!

I used to love this place. Dr. Malone was wonderful and the reason we returned after we moved back to Plano. However, it is under new ownership and is not the same. The front office communication has not been great and one of the new providers is not very pleasant. Overall friendly but do not seem to be well organized. I don't see myself returning after my conversation this morning.

I have been coming for years with Dr. Danny Malone who is an excellent eye doctor and is very thorough and truly cared about his patients. He educated me not only on eye health but how lifestyle management and how that effected your vision. The practice has been taken over by Drs. Milburn who are in my option such a power couple! I have been seen by Dr. Anna Marie Milburn a few times and she has attention to detail and had passion in her work. She takes her time to answer any questions and I recommend you visit this practice. I am a potential patient considering visiting an optometrist and figuring out my best options. I was considering Vision Source Plano center - but after reading the negative reviews for this center, I am dropping them off my list. As with any health insurance and a doctor, the customer is at the receiving end and at the mercy of the doctor (who always has the upper hand). Looks like the previous doctor was good but the new doctors at this center (Dr. Milburn?) aren't worth considering - so better to stay off than be sorry. Let there be more power to the consumer and their choices. Better take care of the customer like a king.

Same issues and prior reviews. Dr. Milburn claimed to be performing services covered by my insurance. I paid the copay in office and then received a an additional bill via email. When I questioned the balance and informed the billing team of my in office visit, they attempted to gaslight me claiming their provider would never make that claim and I was confused. Not only was that exactly what happened, I referred my mother to him prior and he did the same thing to her. They make you sign a form at check in so they are not liable for adding additional line items to your bill. Fraudulent.

Very informative and helpful, the Dr. Showed me a lot I never knew before about my vision. Staff were very nice and I enjoyed my time there today. Revised: they had purchased a new billing program on the day I visited and wasn't sure how to use it yet and billed me for a balance I paid on my initial visit in cash, I spoke to several people over the phone and in person and they all said they'd straighten it out that the new billing program wasn't reflecting my cash payment. They still send me bills and it's been over a year now.

where did Dr malone go ? He was really awasome. I am trying to look for him as he took care my eyes for 4 years

My family and I have been patients to vision source for over 15 years, visiting with Dr. Malone. Dr. Malone was great and took care of our family however this place has changed under new management. When I visited in December, the new front-desk knew nothing and even more the Dr is greedy. He made me run all these various tests, informing me it was covered under my insurance when in reality it was not. I asked multiple times if it was covered and they said it was when it was not and they charged me. They charged an initial amount of ($185), and then afterwards when I went to the front desk they upped the charge to ($280). I didn't say anything and paid 1/2 of it and when I came back to pay the rest, they somehow charged even more ($466), and claimed insurance doesnt cover it when my insurance HAS not changed in over 15 years. They kept deceiving me and said it was covered constantly when it was not. This doctor, Dr. Milburn is greedy for money. I've never been charged over $200 on any of my visits in the past.
