Dr. Arnold Stokol

My ophthalmologist recommended Stokol and Fagala Optometry for a complex prescription I needed to have filled. Olivia was the welcoming optician I saw - she helped me choose perfect frames and determined their correct sizing. I was very impressed with Olivia's expertise and felt comfortable being there, taking my time to decide, and left with a positive feeling about my visit and choice of frames. The staff was friendly and the suite of offices inviting with hardly a moment of wait.

Okay - where to begin? I've been seeing Dr. Fagala at Stokol Vision since at least 2015, and as I've aged, I've come to depend on her and the professional staff, more and more. I no longer live in North Texas, but I ALWAYS make an appointment when I return. Dr. Fagala has always been professional, personable, and really intuitive. The testing uses the absolute latest in vision assessment. The staff? Wow. I just wish ALL of my doctor's visits were this team-oriented and congruent with my needs. Let's start with timeliness - we all know that Doctor's visits usually require a LONG WAIT, past your expected check-in, etc. NOT WITH THIS PLACE! They were ON-TIME, and paced me through the testing and analysis at a VERY steady cadence, taking the time to answer questions, re-set when I couldn't follow directions, and explain things pro-actively. This time, I decided to try out contact lenses. A young professional named Kathryn or Kathy (Sorry if I misspelled the name, but hey - my vision without glasses was blurry LOL!) was INCREDIBLY patient, INCREDIBLY good at guiding me into TOUCHING MY EYEBALL MULTIPLE TIMES, and GUIDING me through verbal communication in to properly installing, then removing my test pair of contact lenses. I went in feeling like "Larry" from "The Three Stooges", and came out MUCH more confident in my ability to install and remove the lenses under self-supervision. When my glasses were under review, Angie patiently explained my options, helped me determine my "Inter-Pupillary Distance" (something I use in VR simming), and then helped me choose replacement lenses with better options, including Transitions, something I did not know I could include in this given pair. To summarize - Dr. Fagala and the entire staff at Stokol Vision are exemplary professionals dealing with individual clients in a timely, caring manner. Eye Vision is NOT cheap, but it is more necessary than ever in this visual-based society. I am grateful for this Serendipitous discovery (I used to work in the same shopping center), and I know I will be happy to continue this business and personal relationship in the years going forward, as long as I have family to visit in North Texas.

This is the only practice I will trust my vision to. Dr Stokol and Dr Fagala are the best and take their time when they are with the patient. Miss Angie and the other staff are the best and create a friendly, family atmosphere when interacting with patients and family.

Dr Stokol and his team are always so professional, courteous, friendly and thorough. Dr Stokol has been taking care of our family for 30 years.

All out for money !! Ridiculous !! Can't believe this office expects payment upfront. North Garland vision checked my insurance and I only have to pay $10 for copay . Disappointed patient and I have been to your office before .
