Bought a pair of glasses with every upgrade. Returned them due to poor vision after 6 months and was told they were fine. Returned again 15 months after purchase with the obvious defect now clearly obvious (think "shattered windshield effect" in the self-darkening layer between lenses) only to be told in a totally impersonal, uncaring and dismissive way that the glasses were over 12 months old and out of warranty. If you want to spend your money on defective eyeglasses that last less than a year, and want to be treated poorly, by all means shop at Sam's optical. Warn your friends.

I had high hopes when I turned in my contact lens prescription to Sam's Club optical. I guess I set my expectations a little too high. Initially the lens were not available so they had to be ordered and that took some time. I had minor issues with that order and picking up the lenses but I didn't think much about it. My second order is now due from this prescription and I have tried to call them because it really does not require a visit to place the order, but they never and I do mean never answer their phone. I also decided my next order to price shop. I now realize I am not even getting that great of a price from Sam's for my contact lens and I'm having to deal with all of this aggravation. Needless to say after this experience I will not be getting my contact lenses from Sam's again.

Doctor Crowley can't be bothered to show up on time for an appointment. It happens so frequently that the secretary said "Oh, she's always five minutes late." If you can't respect that I took time away from my job to give you my business, then you don't deserve my business. Once the doctor arrived and took my insurance information, she got frustrated at my low-co-pay and refused to believe all I owed her was $5 for the exam and fitting. I ended up paying $45 only to go back with insurance information in hand. I refused to leave so she reluctantly called my provider for an explanation of my co-pay and coverage and after 45 minutes of her arguing with my provider, I got my money back. I decided right then that I'd never return. Soon afterwards, my wife had the same experience with tardiness so we're never going back.
