I have been a client here for several years. During that time, I have had about three problems with my eyes and Dr. Klufas has always been attentive, thorough, and comprehensive. This week ON DECEMBER 22ND!!! (when a lot of procrastinating patients try to get it to take advantage of benefits before they reset at year end!), I called with an urgent issue that ended up being a scratched cornea. VERY PAINFUL! Not only did he see me same day but he needed to see me in 24 hours but that meant he had to come in on the 24th since he saw he so late on the 22nd. He saw me on Christmas Eve morning. I have never seemed rushed in any of my dozen visits in the past five years and he has always taken care of me. Stop what you are doing and pick up the phone and snag an appointment with the best eye doctor in Texas. P.S. His staff is first class also and he doesn't gouge you or overcharge you. Diamond K Eye Cares staff and owner are kind and courteous. Upon entering the office you are treated like family! Kathy always greets you by your name. It really means a lot to us. At other establishments your just the next appointment. Dr. Kuflas offers a comprehensive approach to insure your eye care meets your personal needs. Having a husband who has a medical diagnosis, Dr. Klufas offers specialized equipment to look well beyond a basic eye exam. I feel very confident my husband's potential medical eye care will be detected early and swiftly have options for proper care. When you have an appointment there is always a review of your medications. Although for some people it is frustrating to "repeat" all of your information. For me, keeping my medications up to date dictated medical concerns and additional eye exams. With is thoroughness and additional eye exams, a plan was developed to keep my eyes healthy. We appreciate our relationship with the staff and Dr. Klufas. Their personalized care for my family is a blessing to us.

The entire staff was very friendly and courteous. They took the time to explain the various test on my eyes and future development of my eye sight. Very pleased with this Optometrist and close to home. I'll make future plans for future visits.

Dr Klufas is the best! When you think about supporting local a business, I hope you support this place. Friendly staff that have been there for a long time, and treat you like family. Dr Klufas provides a thorough eye exam,. He takes time to explain things and answer questions. Dr Klufas also gives back to the community through the Guadalupe County Youth Show. I love looking at all the picture of the kids with their projects and their thank you cards he post in his office. Small town feel and locally owned. I will not go anywhere else!

Great doctor.. That's it . The receptionist never has a conversation, I'm Hispanic,.. Yet next to a white couple comes in and now she's very chatty.. hmm I wonder why. as a person of dark skin i felt very unwelcome

I highly recommend them! The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and efficient. Dr. Klufas was extremely thorough and explained everything in terms I could understand. I'm diabetic, and it's important to be cautious and know about changes with my eyes. He showed me how clearly i will be able to see with my new prescription. It will be better than I've seen in years. Their glasses are more reasonable than any other eye doctor I've ever been to, and can have them ready within a couple days.
