Selma Eye Care inside Costco is fantastic! The staff is friendly, professional, and makes the whole visit easy and stress-free. They take the time to explain everything clearly and make sure you're comfortable throughout the exam. The convenience of having great eye care right inside Costco, along with fair pricing and quick service, is hard to beat. Highly recommend Selma Eye Care for anyone needing an eye exam or updated prescription!

Dr. Reynolds is the best Optometrist in the business! I've been going to his office in Selma for the past four years and he is the most thorough and knowledgeable doctor. Always willing to answer my questions that I have. Make that appointment soon as he books up fast! He is just that good!

This was an extremely frustrating experience. I was told there was a same-day vision appointment available for my son at 5:00 p.m. After providing my insurance information, I was told it was no longer accepted here When I explained that Costco Vision is listed as a participating provider on my insurance website, the receptionist checked again and confirmed they do accept the insurance. I was then told they couldn't verify benefits that day and therefore couldn't keep the appointment. Because I had initially been told the appointment was available, I had already submitted a request to leave work early and used two hours of PTO that I cannot cancel. I asked if they could try to run my benefits anyway since there was 4 hours before the appointment, and I could bring in all of my supporting documentation to show what the copay would be as I work for the insurance company and I have immediate access to the benefits. I was called a short time later and told they are not accepting new patients with this insurance and I would have to pay $80 if I wanted to keep the appt. The inconsistent information cost me PTO time and resulted in no appointment at all. This situation was handled very poorly.

Because of Dr Reynolds I felt so so comfortable going for Lasik surgery. I knew I needed it but did not want to after seeing my first optometrist. But this doctor explained everything and said if I decide to do it give him a call back. No pressure no force all gentle. Dr Reynolds is fantastic!! I highly recommend him and will never go see another other than Dr Reynolds. Go see him at his office next to Costco. You do NOT need a costco card to see him. His office is just on the same property.

I had such a great experience at Selma Eye Care!! From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. Claudia was especially sweet and super helpful, she made the whole process easy and comfortable. The office itself is clean, organized, and runs efficiently, which I really appreciate. The doctor took the time to explain everything clearly, and I never felt rushed. Highly recommend

First, I would rate no stars if available. Took 3 months to get an appointment. They waited until 2 days before my appointment to call and say my insurance was not working. So, I contact my insurance and they verified I did have coverage, that Selma Eye Care was filing the claims incorrectly. Then, finally arrived and there was 4 chairs available and no sitting for me. My bathroom is larger than the 'waiting area'. Absolutely ridiculous! Then I asked where was the bathroom, and told you have to go in the a joining Costco store, they did not have a restroom for clients. Unbelievable. Worse customer service ever! Please take your eye care to a more professional office, staff and facility.

On 23 Aug 2024, I had an eye exam at Selma Eye Care (next to COSTCO) I was informed they do not take my insurance. I paid $227.95. A few weeks later I received a notice from my insurance that they paid $178.59. It took 4 trips to Selma Eye Care to get them to reimburse a portion of the overcharge. I reported this to my insurance company,

Selma Eye care is a great office. Very efficient and easy to work with. I would recommend them to anybody.
