Berkeley Eye Center - Grand Oaks

Hello I want to share my experience with Berkeley my office I go to is Kingwood my doctor is Dr .Wang well I must say that had my surgery on the 16th of February my right eye and I went to the Grand oaks location everything was fine. I was late I called to let them know I had overslept I was up most of night cuz I was nervous about going to get my eye done and they told me to come on in you know they ask me how long will it take for me to get there and when I made it there everybody was so nice from check in to the nurses the procedure was great one minute they say oh you be awake but you will be sedated a little bit I went out once they put that cover on my eye the next thing I know I'm waking up I'm done , so I thought I was going to be seeing what was going on but thank the Lord I didn't see nothing. So if you want my advice a referral go to Berkeley sign up the surgery center they're wonderful and they make you feel so comfortable and relaxing funny you know help your nerves get down so well that I have my next surgery on March the 5th . My co-payment was $425 per eye it's not they Berkeley eye center it's that my insurance I have everything have went up so I have to wait till I get my money to pay it my retirement disability that is but I thank God for everything and I know this is a long post and I don't care I am giving my most deeply response to let you know why you should go and feel comfortable about a cataract surgery I'm ready for the other one now God bless Berkeley God bless the doctors the nurses and everyone that's going there. FYI they got me looking like a bumblebee with these glasses on and sedation I feel like I was sleeping beauty I didn't want to wake up and leave ha ha be blessed.

We arrived at this office on January 7, 2026, to see Dr. Yook. The girls at the front desk were quite friendly. What we didn't expect was how long we had to wait to see Dr. Yook. We waited an hour and a half or more in the waiting room, and then they put us in another small waiting room where they slowly ran tests on machines. And then... you finally see the doctor. The second time was on February 11, 2026. This day was the same story, except that when we finally got to see the doctor, I spoke to the nurse about what had happened, expressing my discomfort since my mother is elderly. And this is where things reached a breaking point. We finally went in to see Dr. Yook, The nurse told her about our discomfort, and instead of apologizing for the wait, she checked on my mother and, with an annoyed expression, referred us to another doctor. We understand that delays may occur; however, such a prolonged wait demonstrates a lack of organization and sensitivity towards vulnerable patients. What was most concerning was that, when we respectfully expressed our concern, the doctor reacted angrily and, instead of handling the situation professionally, decided to reassign us to another doctor without offering a clear explanation. This attitude made us feel disrespected. My opinion as a patient also matters.

Dr. Quadir is hands down one of the best providers I had had. The medical staff here is awesome. I don't know everyone's name but Tina and Alina are great. I am especially appreciative of how patient Alina was with my son. I switched over to this location over a year ago and so glad I did.

Unfortunately they will schedule you during their lunch period. I came a little early my appointment was at 12:30 and I wasn't seen until after 1. I work in the medical field too. I understand it gets busy, but unfortunately there is nothing they will do for you. You'll just have to wait.

I'm glad, I went to Berkeley Eye Center in Spring TX. Excellent service by very courteous knowledgeable staff. Dr Manzil Quadir is superb, and did a perfect job. I recommend anyone who wants a proper vision exam etc. should visit and get the best possible results by this center and doctor. Thank you. Kay Zey Spring TX

Dr Choudry performed eye surgery on my left eye and she was in a rush as she was behind on all her appts, I was her last client and she hurried up to finish my eye surgery which left me now BOTCHED. My left eye still has a bump and the lower lid is bigger than the other one. And when I went back after surgery to tell her after it was healed she said it's not her problem to fix it. Very unprofessional.

Berkeley Eye Clinic has exceptional service I had one of the best experiences my doctor Matthew McCauley did my surgery he offered to pray with me before he performed my surgery. The nurses and the anesthesiologist were exceptional. I have recommended several of my friends and family members to Berkeley and now they are seeing doctor's at Berkeley. Thank you all for your kindness and professionalism.

Arrived 45 minutes late for my appointment. Met with smiles and pleasantries. I was squeezed in. From entry to exit I experienced VIP service. Dr. Choudhry was professional, pleasant and understanding.
