Dr. Sachs has treated my family for 10+ years. He takes time with his patients and tries several options to make sure the prescription is correct. He is very thorough. My contact prescription is special order; they always fill it promptly and Wendy calls when it is ready. I may be able to order the contacts cheaper online but will not trust my vision, nor that of my family, with another provider.

Dr Sachs gives an excellent & practical service. He was very kind and helped to select the best contacts and glasses for my individual lifestyle & habits. He didn't recommend any unnecessary extra services or supplies, and the prices were very fair. His staff was very helpful with the selection of my glasses, and did a good job of following up with me. In short, I highly recommend Dr Sachs.

Was considering a few different doctor's for my 1st pair of glasses. So glad I stopped in to Dr. Sachs office to check them out. I received such a friendly greeting upon arrival. The nice receptionist answered all my questions and scheduled a appointment a few days away. The doctor was so thurough and spent all the time necessary to make sure all my options were explained. I did not feel pressured into buying extra products, and I could not be happier with my final selection of eye glasses. Would not hesitate for a second to recommend WOODLANDS VISION CENTER to friends and family!!

Dr. Sachs is a good Optometrist, but I also want to mention how great his assistant Wendy is. She's always helpful and makes sure me and my family are happy with the services. I have to admit she is always working alone, but still does a great job! Would recommend.

Reputable and Knowledgeable! Dr. Sachs has been taking care of our family's vision needs for almost 30 years. We trust him and his office staff is always friendly and accommodating.

Dr. Sachs is just an amazing, professional and approachable person. Answered all questions with patience and very objective. (plus Spanish speaking) Give it is not the high end, high tech optometrist place but is precisely that "wise old school" feeling that gives you the certainty you will walk out of there with the right prescription/glasses at the first visit instead of getting squeezed by unnecessary expenses.

I went in for new glasses. 6 months and $400 later I have a new pair of glasses but am not happy at all. I asked for a pair exactly like my old ones. After 3 - 4 different tries I finally had to settle for a frame I didn't like and lenses that didn't give me what I needed. Once they send your prescription off to the lab, it takes a couple weeks turn around. You have to put 1/2 down on them so if they don't do a good job, you're out several hundred dollars because they don't give refunds. The only "service" they did well was they put a new nose bridge on my old glasses so I could use them while I waited for my new ones. They never called to let me know the new ones were ready for pick up. I had to keep calling and every time I went to pick them up they were closed or they had an emergency so they were closed. They aren't open late or on Thursdays either. Really cannot recommend this place.

I hate to leave bad reviews for small businesses, but I think others deserve to know the quality you will receive at this place. I got my and my wife's lenses replaced there just over a year ago, and now the lenses are losing a coating, that is leaving hazy marks on the lenses. This is making it harder to see. Its happening to both our lenses. I have never seen this happen on any of my prescription lenses before. These are very poor quality lenses. The frames there were overpriced as well. Not going back there again.
