I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Newman and his staff. From the time I arrive to departure they treat me like a human being and that shows I matter to them. They answer any questions I have about my treaent. You don't see that much anymore as patients. We definately need more doctors like him. His staff cares about how you are doing and it shows.

Appreciating Dr Newman s concern and appropriate discussion of a very serious ailment. If BSW could initiate an open enrollment for neuronic degeneration delay diets'( e.g Mediterranean diet,etc) counseling,this could be an adjunct to the medical Dr s 7 week treatment plan. Thanking Dr Newman and his assisting team for their making the regular bimonthly clinic visit as comfortable as possible

Dr. Newman has been amazing. I appreciate the extra time he takes, his holistic approach, and the patience he has when things get a little difficult. The staff have all been amazing.

I've been a patient of Retina Specialist, Dr. Newman at the Baylor Scott & White Eye Institute for close to a year now. I made an appointment with an Optometrist there because I had sudden, vivid "floaters" in my right eye that weren't going away & were interfering with my eyesight. Thank goodness I didn't ignore these symptoms, because I was diagnosed with a retina tear. That very day, they took me back to see Dr. Newman. He said I was very lucky they found it, because it was small & difficult to find. He then, in the office, performed a laser procedure to mend the tear. I've subsequently acquired another tear in my left eye which required surgical treatment & have continued to be treated by Dr. Newman, who was also my surgeon & follow-up doctor. The folks at BSWEI, from the front desk to the techs & nurses are ALL amazing, and I am so grateful to have them here, in Temple! After every encounter with Dr. Newman, he asks if he can pray with me. He's the 2nd doctor at BSWEI who has asked to pray with me. It amazes me that at this day and time in our country, there are still medical professionals who are NOT afraid of their faith & who share it with others. I've no doubt, that my doctor's prayers have helped to heal me & my eyes and I would recommend Baylor Scott & White to anyone. Don't ignore disturbances in your eyesight! Not EVER!
