Philip R. Cheng, MD

I went to many doctors and the last five years post cataract implants in both eyes. I started to see blurry and kept telling them that and they kept telling me I just had dry eyes. It became worse this year and a friend of mine told me to try Dr. Cheng, within 15 minutes. he knew that I had cornea dystrophy. Not one other ophthalmologist I ever went to here could identify or was educated enough to know what I had. I was able to seek specialty care for a YAG laser procedure to rid the cornea scarring and whatever else at a clinic specializing in this in Houston area. Now I have avoided a cornea transplant/DMEK at least for a while. But, The point is that if I had kept going to these local BSW or Seton doctors in Temple/Belton/Killeen area I would've never known because these doctors didn't know how to tell what was wrong with me. And they really tried. If Dr. Cheng had not been talented + well-trained enough, , I'd be losing my sight really soon. Quit going to these other puppy male doctors. Dr. Cheng is the only one in this area that knows what he's doing. Cheers!

I've looked everywhere trying to find a REAL DR who might be able to help me. It didn't take too long once I put in the right words. I'll update after my appointment. God willing it's soon.
