If I could give Avery Eye Clinic 10 stars, I would. I had no idea how drastically my quality of life could change almost overnight. I'm 45, and I've had extremely poor vision my entire life, -18 myopia with astigmatism. I've worn contacts since age 10 and glasses since around age 6. Despite trying every corrective option, my vision could only ever reach 20/40 with even the best lenses. When cataracts started to affect my vision, especially at night, I was scared. Driving was difficult and headlights felt blinding. A friend recommended Avery Eye Clinic, and I decided to move forward with LAL (Lens-Assisted Lens) cataract surgery. From the moment of surgery, I could not believe what I was seeing. Literally minutes after the procedure, I could see the nurse clearly from over 50 feet away -- something I had never experienced in my life. Waking up each morning, I had mini panic attacks because I could actually see without contacts. My eyes immediately felt comfortable and free, without the dryness and discomfort I had grown accustomed to over decades of contact lenses. The results have been nothing short of miraculous: * 20/20 vision in one eye, 20/25 in the other -- and my prescription hasn't even been fully dialed in yet. * I can drive, watch movies, and live my daily life without the burden of contacts or glasses. * Everyday tasks feel effortless and joyful -- something I never imagined possible. Looking back, I realize that getting cataracts was a blessing in disguise. If I hadn't developed them, I may never have had the opportunity for this surgery and would still be struggling with limited vision and uncomfortable contacts. Dr. Lin and the entire team at Avery Eye Clinic were incredible from start to finish. Their professionalism, care, and expertise made a potentially stressful experience seamless. I also appreciate that Dr. Lin acknowledges the inventors of the lens, but the skill and dedication of her team are undeniable. For anyone who thinks they've exhausted all options for corrective eye surgery, or feels hopeless because of extreme prescriptions, I cannot recommend this clinic enough. This surgery has given me something I've never had in my 45 years: freedom and clear vision. Thank you, Dr. Lin and team!! I am forever grateful.

Good quality, therefore, slow service. Expect to be called in at least 30 min after your appointment time. The staff is respectful and straightforward.

The exam seemed thorough. My complaint is calling a 1 minute , "read the lowest line " with glasses on and off a refraction. Insurance doesn't cover refractions. $50 charged. I've had many refractions, and this was not!

From the very first appointment to assess my cataracts to today my final recheck post surgery my experience with y'all has been awesome! Dr. Jan as my surgeon has been patient and eager to answer all questions. All the staff from phone to in person are so friendly and respectful. I am so glad UHC sent me here. After being blind in one eye and quickly losing vision in second y'all have changed my life. Thank you.

I recently had cataract removal with Avery Eye Clinic. I had an awesome experience with the professional staff with this clinic. The nurses went out of their way to see that I was comfortable. The doctors were exceptional, reliable and professional. I was very happy with my eye surgery.

Awesome facility with a very friendly and professional staff. I loved Dr. Dvorak!! He was quite thorough and communicated findings in a way that I could understand. He Was patient and friendly. My only issue was that the waiting room wait was too long for me. I expect to be seen within 15 minutes of my appt time and it was about 45 minute wait. If i am expected to be on time, or pay a fee, i also expect the same customer value proposition.y time too is valuable. It could have been a rare situation since this is my first visit. I strongly recommend them.

I think the Doctors are great. My biggest complaint is the wait time (Woodlands office) The waiting room was very crowded with no where for two people to sit. We sat in the lobby and let the desk know this. For a 9:15am appointment (follow up after cataract surgery), it took 20 minutes to be seen by a tech - this is normal and expected. The out to the waiting room again to wait for the Doctor. Then waited almost an HOUR to see Doctor for 5 minutes - Did not feel rushed with Doctor. Ridiculous! Our time is very important as well!
