My daughter's prescription is extremely high, and we had an awful experience with another location prior to visiting Focus Optical. We were a little skeptical at first, but from the moment Ms. Anayeli took my call, she and staff made it a priority to ensure our experience was a great one! It was difficult finding a location that could make a transition lens for such a high prescription, but Focus Optical took care of it. Ms. Emily was also so helpful when it came time to the fitting. She took her time, listened to our concerns, and helped us pick out a frame that complemented my daughter well. Even the turn around time was way sooner than I expected. They communicated updates when they were available. Her glasses were here in 3 weeks and looked great. We're beyond happy with the service! We will be coming back for sure. We highly recommend either location.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Ashley Nguyen and the entire Focus Optical team. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, professional, and efficient. Dr. Nguyen took the time to thoroughly explain my eye condition and treatment options in a way that was easy to understand. The exam was very comprehensive, and I felt completely at ease throughout the process. I highly recommend Focus Optical and Dr. Nguyen to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate ophthalmologist.

I've been visiting Focus Optical in both The Woodlands and Spring locations for about four years, and I've always appreciated the quality of their eye exams--especially with Dr. Dinh, who is incredibly kind and informative. Given my positive experiences, I decided to purchase my glasses from them this time, as I felt it was only fair to support the doctors who have provided me with such excellent care. In previous years, I would get my eye exams at Focus Optical but purchase my glasses from Vision Source. However, after buying my glasses from the Woodlands location, I noticed that the lenses seemed to have a focal point directly in the center, while the surrounding areas appeared blurry. When I brought up my concerns on 2/15/25, I was informed that for the prescription to be evenly distributed across the entire lens, I would need to pay an additional $100+. Unfortunately, I had set a budget of no more than $300 for my glasses, so this wasn't an option for me. I wish this information had been communicated before my purchase, as I was expecting a different lens experience. If you are looking for glasses with a central focal point, this location may be a good fit. However, for my needs, I will not be purchasing glasses here again. That said, the optometrists provide outstanding eye care, so I will continue to visit them for my annual exams.

This is the ONLY optical store that will order different size frames and not make you choose what they have on display.

Professional staff and MD very helpful and takes time in providing information on different tests and treatment making patient very comfortable. I'd give 5 stars but ordered top end prescription glasses and was informed they would arrive in 2 weeks. It has been over 3 weeks and still haven't arrived or know when they will arrive. They should consult with lab on turnaround time then communicate this to the customer.

My daughter and I had our eye exam today with Dr. Nguyen. We had an amazing experience! Dr. Nguyen is very sweet, patient, and really took her time to explain everything to my daughter since it was her first eye exam. The staff is wonderful and took their time making sure we picked out a great first pair of glasses! Staff is extremely knowledgeable and made sure we understood our insurance coverage! Ask for Amy...she will take good care if you!!
