One of the best eye care services I have used in the past 15 years. I ordered 2 full glasses within 2 months. Staff are friendly and competent, great selection of reasonable priced designer frames, quick and reasonably price service. Michelle and Shae were both a pleasure to work with and made my visit stress free.

There are a few things that are positive as well as negative with this establishment. The woman that works the front desk, (Amanda) is always pleasant and welcoming. She is attentive and always greets people warmly. The issues I have are 2 fold. I had a credit balance in my account that I was never made aware of. If I can get 10 reminders about an upcoming appointment, why not a email telling me I have a credit balance? More aggravating is the support staff helping the eye doctor.
I needed a prescription and the aide asked me where to send it to. Easy enough, I told her the Kroger on Riley Fuzzel.. She told me there were 2 Kroger's on Riley Fuzzel, one on Riley and the other on Rayford Road. I told her that there were 2 separate stores and I needed it to go to Riley Fuzzel. I offered her the phone number and address, she said she didn't need it. You know the rest of the story, it went to the wrong store. Just plain aggravating. Just listen

I have been going to Woodlands Eye Associates for over 10 years. Most of the staff has been there during this time. Everyone is very personable and accommodating. Dr. Toups has been great. The optician Miranda Schumacher is always a joy to work with as well. I know she has my best interest in mind when selecting my next set of glasses.

I went here for the last few years, and really struggled with my progressives. I thought it was just me not wearing them enough to get used to them. I think I even had them redone last time and still couldn't find the sweet spot. Felt like a pain, but not sure it wasn't just me, so bought glasses and stuck them in a drawer. This year I decided to try a smaller clinic. Comparing some of my glasses, I found out the spot was very low and why that one pair wasn't working for me. I just picked up my new pair from the new place and it's a huge difference. I'm sure that my experience is not the norm, but I felt more comfortable and as less of a hassle at the smaller clinic. I feel like I wasted my money on the glasses I got here. I should have kept at it until they were tight, but again I felt like maybe it was just me.

Had a great experience overall with exams and picking out glasses. Would have gave 5 stars, but when I went to pick up my glasses, Miranda made me feel like I was a burden. Was excited to pick up my new glasses, but put a damper on my experience. Everyone else was busy, had to wait around for her "to be ready". Sorry for being an annoyance.

Dr. Toups is fantastic! He's got a great way of explaining tests that are being done and the reasons for them - he's also great at explaining the outcomes and prognoses. The staff and opticians at The Woodlands Eye Associates are also always friendly, professional and fun. Highly recommend them as a patient who has been with them for nearly 8 years.

I am furious with my experience at Woodlands Eye Associates, especially with their glasses department. The way they handled my order was nothing short of a rip-off.
They overcharged me massively and piled on a bunch of extras I NEVER asked for. No one bothered to explain anything, no one walked me through the costs, and by the time I saw the final bill, it was obvious they were just adding things to pad the price. The lack of transparency is unbelievable.
What really pushed me over the edge? I went online to EZ Glasses and bought the exact same pair of glasses WITHOUT using insurance, and I STILL paid way less than what Woodlands Eye Associates charged me with insurance. That's how outrageous their pricing is.
It honestly feels like they take advantage of people who trust them. I walked out feeling scammed, frustrated, and completely let down.
I won't ever come back, and I strongly warn others to double-check everything before buying glasses here. This place seriously needs to fix its business practices.

From the moment I approached the glasses counter, the customer service was shockingly poor. The staff member assisting me was rude, dismissive, and showed absolutely no willingness to help. Instead of guiding me or answering my questions, I felt like I was being rushed and treated as an inconvenience.
ended up purchasing my glasses somewhere else where the staff actually cared, listened, and explained things clearly. Woodland Eye Associates needs to take a serious look at how their optical staff interacts with patients. No one should be treated with rudeness, impatience, or disrespect--especially when they're spending their hard-earned money.
