America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I have received excellent customer service from each employee who helped me this week - the person who booked my appointment, person who checked me in for my exam appointment, the person who did my pre-exam, the optometrist, and the person who helped me pick out glasses and cash me out (I think her name was Anna). I felt so comfortable and no one was just sitting around, but actively helping someone or doing something. It was lively but not hectic. I appreciate this atmosphere and especially getting quality help that I needed for my eyecare needs!

Have to say I was really impressed going to America's Best to get tested and contacts. They had me in and out within 30 minutes. Tracy did a great job with the tests and the doc assured me contacts was an option. I love the contacts and very thankful for such a great team!

Shawn has THE best customer service. We recommend her to anyone. It got busy and she was helping literally everyone who came in and reassured everything :). Thanks for helping my sister and I out, Miss. Shawn! She's also hilarious!

Came back for another eye exam and got the TOPS TO GO brand with the interchangeable frames and exam loved the prices and the versatility and will come back again soon to get more frames to change out with

Becareful when purchasing eyeglasses here. I bought a pair June 2025 and paid over $500 with insurance. The lenses do not transition right. Sometimes just half the lense darkens and sometimes when I walk i doors they take so long to transition back to clear that I have to take them off to see. I called dec 2025 and I was told that the glasses only had 30 day warranty. They said that I could have purchased an extended warranty, which I was never told about. I was told that I would get a call back to discuss with someone in charge and tbey never called. Now the lenses are almost unusable. I can't afford to buy $500 glasses every few months. Will be buying new glasses elsewhere.

Everyone was so helpful and attentive-- from reception to the final service. The atmosphere and assistance were phenomenal. Thanks to Nicole, and shout out to this Waco location. I will be back!

First off if you are someone who dosent need glasses on 24/7 this place is fine, for anyone who have to wear glasses every day like myself do not go here, they lie about the quality of their lenses and say they are all the same do not let them fool you they are not, a solo more high end place WILL have better lenses, and anytime you go to show them the garbage they have sold you, you are put down and criticized, I am a 20 year old who has been wearing glasses since I was just under a year old, I think I know how to take care of a pair of specs, that being said the customer service is spotty at best sometimes you will get the nicest well informed people and sometimes you will get people that have no idea what they are talking about and then put you down for telling them facts. That being said, do not go here if your insurance will take a better high end place unless you just want throw away glasses that are torn after 2 weeks.

I'm not sure what's going on at this place but I went in and saw the eye dr for rx reading glasses a month ago. 2 weeks ago went to get the glasses and whoever put in the prescription, put in for distance. I don't need distance. So they sent them off again for the correct readers. Get there today 2/14/26, put one pair on and couldn't see a thing out of the right eye, looked through the one lense and same thing. Won't be going back and waiting on the refund for the exam and both pair of glasses. Very disappointed
