The WONDERFUL Dr Rolfsen & his amazing Staff went beyond my expectations and calmed my anxiety over having eye surgery!
I've been looking for someone to perform my cataract surgeries in both eyes but could not find the right doctor I was comfortable with & who I trusted with my eyesight until i visited Waco Ophthalmology.
He & each of his Staff Members explained every detail, were easy to talk to and they truly care about each of their Patients. Not one of my questions (and I had lots) went unanswered.
Had both eyes done (with the MultiFocal Lens) and the day after surgery, I can read this WITHOUT my glasses/contact lens!
Without a doubt Dr Michael Rolfsen & his Staff are the VERY BEST! I love them!

Although I've had just two appointments at Waco Ophthalmology, I had an excellent experience both times. Dr. Rolfsen and his staff are knowledgeable, competent, and friendly and, because it is a private practice, I received personal care and attention. Since I am self-pay, I greatly appreciate the reasonable prices. Additionally, Dr. Rolfsen recommended and performed a procedure which significantly improved my vision - a huge blessing and relief after several discussions with my previous ophthalmologist in which I was told nothing could be done.

When my wife experienced a retinal tear in her left eye on a Saturday night, I called Dr. Rolfsen's emergency number. He responded very quickly and asked us to meet him at his office within 30 minutes. He spent at least an hour with her completing an exam, explaining what had happened and how he would make sure she was seen immediately by a retinal specialist. We were extremely impressed with his willingness to go above and beyond on his own time as well as his professional manner! He is excellent!
