The Optical Dispensary

We had a great experience here. The front desk staff was busy, courteous, and prompt. The Dr was excellent, calm, soothing voice. The office is bigger than where we came from with more selection to chose from. I should have made the switch a long time ago from Crystal Clear.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience. The majority of the staff were unprofessional and rude during my visit. While waiting, I observed employees screaming and horseplaying in the lab where they work on glasses instead of maintaining a professional environment. This behavior made the atmosphere uncomfortable and did not reflect the level of service customers should expect. Additionally, my glasses failed inspection twice, and I did not feel that the situation was handled with care or proper communication. There was little explanation provided, and the overall tone from staff felt dismissive rather than helpful. I will say that one staff member was courteous and professional, and I appreciate their effort. Unfortunately, that positive interaction was overshadowed by the overall lack of professionalism displayed by the rest of the team. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the customer service and workplace conduct issues to ensure a better experience for future customers.

Absolutely horrible experience all around. The optometrist did not listen to ANY of my vision concerns and the glasses I bought made my vision incredibly worse but the office manager wanted to LOUDLY argue with me that they gave me the "right" prescription. They still have those frames so they got paid for a pair of glasses that I never received and I now have to wait till the next calendar year for my vision benefits to renew so I can get a pair of functional glasses. I can not say enough bad things about every single person there and every single aspect of this place.

I honestly regret coming to get my eye exam here. From the front desk lady being extremely rude, to the doctor not listening to me (since I've had eye exams all my life), to them making me make a follow up appointment before they would "release" my prescription for contacts and glasses. I have never needed a follow up appointment for a prescription before EVER. If I could take it back I would not have used my first insurance benefits here.

My insurance paid $300. I paid about $104 out-of-pocket. When I got my glasses, they were in a sack. No case ..no little cloth to wipe them off.

I have been going here for years. The staff have always been respectful and exceptionally helpful. The prices are reasonable and affordable if you do not have insurance. Dr. Alan made sure all my needs were taken care of. She made my visit very relaxing and pleasant.

I do not recommend. Every time I visit this store, the customer service is inadequate at the front desk. They don't even acknowledge you when you walk in by asking if you need assistance. The front desk staff are rude, and act as if they do not know what to do. It also does not help with the extended wait times either. The place is always crowded, with people standing around waiting for service. During my visit this week, there were two gentleman who were discussing how rude one of the front desk employees were and how that was his last visit too. Leslie (the manager) is great, but I wish she would hire better staff, or at least train the current staff to do better. We will no longer be using The Optical Dispensary after my last visit this week.

Outstanding customer service and great options to choose from for glasses and contacts! Ms. Leslie is always ensuring customers have great experiences, and you can tell all of the staff really care about assisting you with glasses/contact needs. Yessi is so patient and polite, she really makes sure that your experience here is great and that all of your questions are answered. Thanks Optical Dispensary for being my go-to place for 2 decades and always being consistent!
