After many years with a mainstream competitor, I visited Geoff for the first time in November '25. I found Geoff and his team offer a far superior experience compared to anything I've tried previously. Geoff's attention to the detail of my personal circumstances was great, and I've got sharp and crystal clear lens as a result. Catherine was fantastic in helping me choose from a huge range of high quality frames, and I'm really happy with the frames and aftercare I've had since. Thanks Geoff and team.

I was very grateful to secure a same day, emergency appointment with Geoff Mc Conville's opticians. Whilst there, I met Geoff and I was thoroughly assessed by Ching using the incredibly impressive, state of the art equipment. I was diagnosed with a retinal tear and was promptly referred to Eye Casualty at the Royal. The very next day I attended my appointment at the Royal (where the doctors were also absolutely amazing) and the tear was repaired there and then. I am so incredibly grateful to the wonderful Ching for her expertise and professionalism. I was also extremely impressed with the extent to which Geoff has invested in state of the art diagnostic equipment.

I have been attending with Laura now for several months with a dry eye condition and the treatment I have received has been first class with the zest treatment followed by IPL - It has been transformative . I've had glasses for years but to be honest I never really felt my vision was crystal clear, until I visited Geoff. The difference is like having ultra HD, unbelievable. Geoff and everyone one are so helpful, good fun, extremely knowledgeable, professional and offer the most varied range of frames and lenses. Their customer service was far beyond my expectations, and I genuinely feel I have made some good friends here. I have suffered from dry eyes for many many years. The treatment prescribed for me was eye drops, and apart from the inconvenience of inserting the eye drops in to my eyes every few hours. the relief obtained was very limited. During a recent visit to Geoff, he informed me he was offering a revolutionary treatment for dry eye called IPL. However, I was sceptical about the technique, but I decided to try it. I had a thorough eye assessment prior to treatment which revealed That all of my meibomian glands were blocked, and the quality of my tears was very very poor. Laura, who is a passionate, dedicated dry eye specialist carried out the procedure. At the end of the treatment, almost 75% of my meibomian glands were functioning normally, and my tear test produced a normal result, all of which was achieved from a starting point of being diagnosed with chronic dry eye. I no longer have to use ineffective eye drops I am so pleased with the outcome of the IPL treatment. Geoff has invested in the most up to date equipment for treating dry eye, and Laura is a leading expert in this field. I would highly recommend this treatment to anyone suffering from dry eye.
