I recently got bleach in my eye and after about 2weeks it still didnt feel right i called McDowells and Within 20 minutes, Victoria had me in checked my eye, gave me a prescription
brought me back after a week to make sure everything was okay. Brilliant service even the girl that works on the font desk was so lovely would highly recommend .

My husband and I went here today and received the best eye care we've had in years!! My husband has Asperger's syndrome and Crohn's disease and has a compromised immune system, we felt totally safe being looked after by Samantha and Victoria. The eye examination was very thorough and Victoria was very attentive and patient as I tried to decide between "number 1 and number 2"! They have an excellent selection of frames to choose from and Samantha has an excellent eye for what looks good on your face, she had me sorted in minutes!! I can't recommend them highly enough!!

I have suffered for years with a pollen allergy affecting my eyes in spring and summer. After being recommended to book an appt with Victoria I have been treated by her for the last 2 years. Victoria was very knowledgeable and gave my eyes a great check up and provided a prescription for treatment for my pollen allergy. We are an independent optician based in the Shankill area of Belfast and provide high quality eye care. You can get your eyes tested (on the NHS), and we can provide you with glasses, contact lenses and sunglasses. Our practise was opened in 1962 by T. D.
