Absolutely life changing experience! I have had to wear glasses/contact lenses since I was 8 years old (21 years). Yesterday I had LASIK eye surgery with Dr Damani and couldn't have had a nicer team looking after me from start to finish! They were all so informative and I honestly feel they all went above and beyond. A full run through of the procedure and all medication was explained in detail before surgery so I knew what to expect. During my procedure I began to have an anxiety attack after the first eye and the 2 nurses were amazing at comforting me and making sure I was okay. They allowed me to stop for a few minutes, as well as providing me with water and a stress ball. Not to mention absolutely gassing me up by telling me how brave I was which I really appreciated! I was then walked out to the car by the manager (I think) who kept me laughing while I was in clinic! Only a few hours post op, I had 20/20 vision! I had my review today for a follow up eye test and couldn't believe I could read the smallest line of letters! I could never achieve this with glasses or contact lenses in the past. I will admit I shed some tears and have been welling up all day I am now sitting here, 30 hours post op with very minimal discomfort and able to see everything perfectly. It all feels so surreal and I would like to thank the entire team for everything they have done for me! I cannot recommend Optimax enough and if I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would. Thank you for changing my life

From my initial consultation with Fiona and her team right through to my aftercare appointments, everything was handled with such professionalism and care. The team in Belfast were incredibly friendly and reassuring. They took the time to explain every step of the process, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt completely comfortable. The procedure itself was so quick and much easier than I expected. The staff talked me through everything during the treatment, which made me feel calm and confident throughout. My recovery has been so smooth, and I noticed a huge improvement in my vision after a few hours. Waking up and being able to see clearly without glasses or contact lenses has honestly been life-changing. I only wish I'd done it sooner! I would highly recommend Fiona and her team at Optimax Belfast they are such a fantastic and friendly team.

I have 20/20 vision after 7 long years of glasses, Fiona and the team were so informative, reassuring and helpful from my first consultation too even now still recovering from surgery, I can pick up the phone any day and someone is happily on hand too help with any of my stupid questions, I am so happy with the results and the price is so good. Had my LASIK at Optimax Belfast last week and am amazed at the results. I was nervous but there was no need to be, it was a very positive, pain-free and rewarding experience. From my initial consultation two weeks ago to the procedure itself, everything has been seamless. The whole team is absolutely amazing - so professional, kind, and reassuring every step of the way. A special shout out to Fiona and Grainne, who went above and beyond to make me feel so well looked after. Their warmth and friendliness really put me at ease and made the whole process feel much less daunting. I'm already seeing 20/20, and the healing process is going really well so far. I can't recommend Optimax Belfast enough - if you're considering laser eye surgery, this is the place to go!

I had my laser surgery a week ago with Optimax Belfast and had the best experience. From my first consultation the whole team made me feel so at ease, Fiona and Grainne explained the process thoroughly and answered any questions I had and you are always asked if you have any questions or need anything to give them a call, I never felt like any question was too small or silly. On the day of my surgery everything went smoothly, meeting with all the staff to be prepped and go over the procedure again, Georgia was amazing at explaining the aftercare and what to expect in the recovery time, again answering any more questions I had. The surgery itself was very quick and Dr Damani explained each step as he went which really put me at ease as I knew what to expect. I can't recommend the team at Optimax Belfast enough for their care and professionalism and am so happy with the outcome of my new vision!

As a review of the practice, I had laser eye surgery a year ago, the people have been great, Georgia and Fiona have been on hand to answer every call and they have been friendly and helpful throughout the process, they are a credit to the practice. Grainne, who did the eye tests, advised on expectations and risks, told me about how the procedure would work etc, was open and realistic pre op and did regular check ups post op until everything had settled and we were both happy. Couldn't fault how they conducted themselves from a personal experience point of view. I met the surgeon on the day, I had no contact with him otherwise. As a review of the surgery itself, it was uncomfortable but nothing too dramatic and nowhere near as painful as I thought it would be. Post op pain was bad for a couple of hours, but again, nothing too bad. Overall it was worth it for me.
