It wasn't first eye test and I was unfamiliar with the process and what to expect as well as the outcome (as my whole family has vision problems). Elina, Jack and Krina (optician) were all lovely and very reassuring. Elina was great on the phone asking lifestyle questions, Jack explained the assessment process thoroughly, and Krina was very calm and thoughtful during her assessment which put my mind at ease. So friendly and welcoming, not intimidating at all so would definitely recommend their services. Thank you!

The whole team is very professional and friendly at this branch. Krina, who carried out my sight test was extremely thorough and didn't make me feel flustered, and she confidently dealt with all my queries. I received lots of assistance in choosing frames which is a real bonus when attending alone. There's a great range of frames here, especially if you're looking for designer or something different. I'm looking forward to picking up my glasses next week.

Taking advantage of a free hearing test at M&S Hedge End it was discovered I have a hearing loss and I would benefit from hearing aids. Despite my trepidation, I was helped through the whole process from my test to being supplied and fitted by John Lueddeke. He is patient, kind and reassuring, able to answer any and all questions. The after sales attention I have been given, be it by phone or visits, has been superb. I must also thank Zane for his help in solving a problem with cleaning the hearing aid. Nothing is too much trouble and makes for one very happy customer. I would not hesitate to recommend this perfect "find" in M&S Hedge End.

I recently visited for a check-up as I hadn't been in so long (over 20 years!) and was a bit nervous about what the outcome might be. My results were fine and I was made to feel really comfortable throughout. Karina the optometrist was extremely kind and efficient! When I noticed M&S had Opticians in store, I felt comfortable enough to enquire about a check up. I've resisted going to other well known High St opticians previously, but the M&S brand overcame that reluctance. It wasn't misplaced either, as I am very satisfied with the sight and hearing tests that I had today. I didn't need anything more than reading glasses and was told that my hearing is OK. Both results seemed correct to me. Buying glasses felt expensive, but I doubt I will be the first person to say that and I realise now that having the correct prescription is better than buying reading glasses over the counter in a pharmacy or at a car boot sale....

My hearing test was conducted by audiologist John, he was friendly and proffesional putting me at ease. The tests were carried out with John explaining at each stage.
