On my first visit to Pollards I was looking for new frames and lenses, the team listened to my requirements, made suggestions with regards to the options available to me and provided me with a pair of spectacles that were perfect for my needs. I was particularly happy with their recommendation for magnetic sun lenses which have been very useful.

Called in to check out issues with my left eye. After a thorough examination and scan, a tumour was found at the back of my eye and I was referred to the Eye Clinic at the Hallamshire, Sheffield.
Turns out the tumour was a secondary to a symptomless cancer in my right lung, which is now being treated.

I can't honestly explain how good the service I received was. The staff were all lovely and knowledgeable but the optometrist who saw me was brilliant, made me feel very at ease and was very thorough.
Also the selection of frames available was great, I found a pair of glasses that's I liked very quickly.
