Dr. Horton is excellent. His staff is above and beyond professional and helpful in every way Dr.Hooton is very professional and has always taken great care of my families eye needs. We can not thank him enough for the care we receive.

My husband and I went to Dr Hooton for our year-end exams and to get updated prescriptions for both contacts & glasses. It was an excellent experience. The Office Manager, Lucy, is amazing! She was very knowledgeable about our insurance coverage and was so sweet and patient when helping me put in contacts for basically my first time. Honestly, everyone there is great and made us feel super comfortable. We are so happy with our choice in going here and will continue to do so.

My family has been seeing Dr. Hooten for years, but I had kept going to my eye doctor until I recently. In one year my eye prescription changed three times. Not because my eyes were constantly changing but because my prescription wasn't just right. It would work for a while then the contacts would feel funny and I'd have to go back in. They would adjust the prescription slightly and I'd start over again wasting a lot of time and money. My mom and sisters convinced me to go see Dr. Hooten. Let me tell you, I have never had such a thorough eye exam in my life. Dr Hooton took his time, reviewed my medical eye history, asked me questions, and completed the exam. He gave me trial lens and asked me to wear them then come back and fine tune it. We did this for two weeks in a row. When I went back in he would do it all again. I mentioned that for years its felt like an air bubble under my contacts, and he just stopped, got quiet, reviewed his notes and said you mentioned you've had lasik done right? I said yes. He said you've never mentioned the air bubble feeling. I said no I haven't. It comes and goes. Dr Hooton then changed my lenses for a third time fitting them to the flatter curve of my eye. HOLY COW! I'm seeing 20:15. I haven't seen this well in years. It is so refreshing to have a doctor who listens to you, works to find a solution, and doesn't give up. I have now switched my husband and kids over too. I'm very grateful to Dr. Hooton and his staff. Amazing office filled with amazing people. I highly recommend!!

I've been going to Dr Hooton since moving to Utah in 2001. The service and staff there is amazing. Lucy Clark makes sure that the final touches of your visit goes well. Moving to Arizona and will miss this team.

Patient beyond what I expected and probably deserved. Never charged me extra or became impatient with me. Highly recommended.

Dr Hooten is a nice caring guy he takes time to make things right.
