Me and my kids see Dr Childs and couldn't be more happy. Office staff is easy to work with and so many selections of glasses and contacts for all ages!

Highly Recommended!!! Dr. Childs is the best IMO. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely cares about his patients. My eyeglass prescription was perfect, and he was also able to prescribe me some eye drops when I had severe conjunctivitis. Brianna also knows her stuff and I was very impressed with her professionalism and expertise doing all my eye tests. Prices are very affordable and major/popular name brand products are available. I am LOVING my foldable Ray Ban glasses and sunglasses! Why go anywhere else since South Valley Optical at 1-800 Contacts is a win-win-win? Thank you! :)

Dr. Childs and the front office staff were great! The exam was prompt and smooth, and Leah, who was working the front, even went over insertion and removal of contacts with me as I'm new to them. They're super friendly and knowledgeable so I highly recommend going to them!

Couldn't be more pleased! My previous doctor retired recently and it's been a struggle to find a worthy replacement. I am pleased to say that Dr. Childs and the staff are South Valley Optical exceeded my expectations. Dr. Childs is very thorough, he spent time explaining what he could see with my vision, listening to and addressing my concerns, sharing options. I never felt rushed or ignored. The optician staff were extremely helpful with finding frames that fit my narrow face, look nice on me and will work with a progressive lens. Everyone on the team worked together to provide me with a personalized experience. I've been purchasing contacts through 1-800-contacts for several years but some offices are stubborn about releasing prescriptions to purchase elsewhere; using South Valley Optical makes that step simpler as my Rx is easily linked to the 1-800-contacts account. 10 out of 10!

I normally do not write reviews but South Valley was amazing. I love that I could book an appt online as a new patient. They got me in quick and were so friendly and never tried to upsell anything. Pricing is clear and posted on their site. Lowest priced contact fitting/eye exam that I could find in Salt Lake. They also gave me SO MANY free samples of contacts to get a true trial of which I liked best. 10/10 recommend
