Find someone else who will listen. Long history of needing Bi-Focals, during the near-sighted exams I told the assistant that nothing improved and they moved on. I told the doc and he convinced me that he was addressing my concern and was checking for near-sight (though it didnt seem like it). When i got the prescription it was only for far-sight and i asked "Where's the other prescription?" at first he didnt understand, then I informed him of my history, to which he explicitly told me "You're too young to need reading glasses..." I was 26. I'm was also too young to have cataracts at 11 years old to now, but aside the point. I told him that this is not a new development and asked for the rest of the results. Pretty certain he made up the prescription. My common prescription had near sight power in the negatives. The new prescription had the same number but in the positive power. Next Eye Appointment I went with my old glasses until insurance would pay for the next checkup and showed the new doc the prescription after her tests. She asked, somewhat concerned "You haven't been using these, have you?" I told her, "No" and she told me that it was good that I hadn't.

Great friendly staff and the staff and doctors seem knowledgeable and they care. The only reason I give 3 stars is because the Office itself and the administration functionality is very outdated. Due to their systems and the way administrative stuff works, it's easy to miss minor details when they are mostly just keeping track of a lot of paper and physical filing it seems. I had a procedure scheduled since June and they said they would reach out to my insurance for authorization. They did. I received a mail notification from my insurance that it was approved. They said they would call in about 2 weeks after they got approval. They never called, and my appointment that was scheduled 2 months ahead was coming up. I had to call them 3 times for pricing details. I didn't find out the pricing until a week before the procedure- which made it stressful to plan the funds. Also I called the week of to see if there was any pre-op stuff I needed to take care of. They said nope. When I get there, I find out I was supposed to be taking prescriptions 2 days before the procedure and they hadn't even requested or sent the prescriptions yet. I asked for an invoice days after the appt cause I never received one and the invoice looked like an old fax copy. Or early 2000's page format and font. Which is totally fine! I got what I needed. Point is, this staff deserves to have their system modernized to help with efficiency and ease.

They sent a reminder card to make an appointment. I called a few times, leaving a detailed message, due to the fact that they never answer their phone. I never received a call back so I will be looking for a new eye doctor.

I've had a great experience communicating with this office's helpful and friendly staff members. I came in a few months ago for a yearly eye appointment. Gave the wrong insurance, and the codes for the appointment were as if I was seen for a diagnosis and billed to medical. Have been back and forth for awhile with 3rd party billing not walking back that I was visited only for a yearly eye appointment. I already have an ophthalmologist specialist and don't see why an optometrist would be adding up additional codes other than the yearly eye appointments purpose. Eventually, they were able to help me out after all.

I've been going to Ungritch Parker Eye Associates for the last 30 years. They have always taken great care of me and make me feel comfortable. Their staff is excellent and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

The Doctors are great. But the receptionist center lacks. Recently every time I have an appointment I pay my bill. Before I leave and ask if everything is paid. They tell me yes. Sure enough, 3 months later I received a call from the billing department that I needed to make a payment. Why? I have been going there for 25 years. I think it is about time I look for another doctor because of the lack of accuracy about our bills.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gayer for a few years and he is thee best! Has always gone above and beyond during my visits to listen and resolve my eye issues. Would highly recommend!!! Also, Roy in the the optical department is great! Can't go wrong with Ungricht Parker Eye Associates!

My family and I have been going to Dr. Parker at Ungricht Parker Eye Associates for years now, and what keeps us going back is the care we get and the friendliness of every employee there . Dr. Parker is so thorough with his exams, making sure that nothing is over looked and that any eye problems we have had are taken care of. They also make sure that we are up to date on all of our eye exams, and making sure we have the correct contacts/eye wear. The front desk staff is so friendly I feel like they know me and my family so well, and when I come in without my kids, they ask all about them. Every time I go there it is a pleasant experience, but also one that I know that I am being well taken care of. I highly recommend using Dr. Parker!
