I've been coming to this office for years and never had an issue until recently. The receptionist MAKENZIE was extremely unprofessional, the moment I walked in, she gave me a rude, judgmental look for no reason. I asked for my trial contacts, which I've always been given in the past, but she refused to provide them without a clear explanation.
She was dismissive and rude throughout the interaction, even going as far as telling the other receptionist not to give them to me in the future. It honestly felt very unprofessional and unnecessary. I had to waste my time and gas coming to this office three times just to deal with this issue, and still got treated disrespectfully.
The lack of customer service and basic courtesy was disappointing, and I won't be returning. If this is how they treat loyal patients, I can only imagine how they treat new ones. I'd recommend finding an office that actually values its patients and hires staff who know how to act professionally.
Doctor Lambertson is amazing, but the front desk staff are the reason I am rating ion vision one star. I get off work at 5pm, so I am unable to come in sooner. They're supposed to be open until 6pm for exams, and 7pm is when they've closed the office for questions over the phone and picking up prescriptions in the past, but for some reason they've been constantly closed before 6pm. They wont even answer my calls to check if someone is in. This is frustrating me, as I had no problems picking up prescriptions or ordering contacts in previous years. It's impossible now though. I dont know if its new management or not, but I'm sick of playing this guessing game. I wish they would actually honor their hours instead of dipping out early.
We have been loyal customers for over 20 years, and this recent experience was extremely disappointing. My daughter was told to try a new, more expensive contacts brand, but the staff never placed the order for the trial pair. When she ran out of her current lenses, we simply asked for another trial to hold her over, and the staff member (McKenzie) was rude, unhelpful, disrespectful and refused to provide them. Even after it was clear the mistake was theirs, there was no apology or accountability. When we finally picked up her usual lens supply, the attitude continued. The doctor( Lamberd) also dismissed the issue when we explained it. After decades of loyalty, the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy means we will never be returning! Very disappointing service.
McKenzie needs a lot of training by the way! Still waiting for her to apologize......
Went to americas best across the street and they wouldn't budge for accommodation. I get it. It's busy. I was treated with a rushed and not-personal manner. Went to LensCrafters across the street and the difference was night and day. They fit me in even though their schedule was full. Actually checked the back and found a spare glasses that they were out of stock of. Just the nicest people who don't rush you but get you taken care of swiftly. Highly recommend. Walk in appreciative for help and receive over the top customer service.
I had to go for a recheck after my new prescription wasn't really working out. Dr. Lambertson listened to me about the problems I was having, and he was patient while I was trying to articulate my concerns. He was able to work out the issue. Athena in the optical was also great in trying to identify why I couldn't really see through my new glasses.
I have gone to this office for several years, for eye exams. In November 2023, I had an exam for contacts and glasses. At my appointment they billed me for what my insurance does not pay and I paid the day of service . Fast forward to November 2024, they texted me and told me I owed them $60. They didn't even mail me an invoice ! It took them a whole year to tell me I owed them $60. Via text they told me to call them to pay. I have never had a doctors office contact me a YEAR LATER asking for payment. They had a poor excuse (explaining that it took their office a year to contact everyone ). I contacted my insurance company and they explained it was due to how Ion billed them. I still never received a statement in the mail. Now it's May 2025 and they contacted me again via TEXT! I'm mailing them the $60 tomorrow- but I will NEVER return to this office nor will my family. I highly recommend you go some where else.
*** Your billing department called me an apologized and said they would credit me for the $60. Your response to my review once again, takes no accountability for waiting a YEAR to bill me.

This was one of the best eye appointments I've ever had! The team was friendly, and the doctor was amazing and funny. Standard Optical completely screwed me over and this place restored my faith in eye doctors! Try it out for yourself you won't be disappointed!
First time appointment with new doctor and it was fantastic! The Optometrist really cared about helping me understand the results of my eye exam and answered all of my questions. I will definitely be returning for future appointments and referring family & friends to Dr Easton. Thank you for being such a great doctor that really cares about eye care and people!
