5 star service all the way - if you're on the fence - just call!
I've been a patient for 5 years - Dr. Duval is one of the most knowledgeable doctors I have ever met. His expertise with vision therapy, optometry, concussion treatments, CRT's etc... is truly unmet with any doctor I have found in Utah.
I have personally seen him for regular glasses and contacts appointments, vision therapy through concussion treatments, and for all of my children on various occasions. I cannot recommend him enough!
My daughter has had CRT lenses for the past 5 years. Her eyes were depleting at a rapid rate while in kindergarten, and Dr. Duval knew exactly what to do about that! He and his team made sure she was taken care of the entire process through.
I pepper him with all of my vision questions and he is right there with me answering them.
His front desk and the rest of his staff are extremely kind and personable. It's a very positive experience all around.
If you have a vision issue of any kind or if your doctor hasn't been able to solve your case, I would highly recommend you go see Dr. Duval today.

I took my 10 month old baby in for a wandering eye and we had the best experience! The doctor was amazing with my baby. She was having so much fun during the appointment. I was worried she would be crying the whole time, but the doctor was so personable with her and was able to see everything he needed to make a plan for her case. I came to the New Vision Sight Vision clinic in dark desperation on the recommendation of a friend and past patient. I had been in a car accident a few months prior and was struggling to find help that addressed my symptoms, many of which were visual. For the first time since that accident, I felt seen: like my symptoms were noticed, tested, evaluated and understood. I could not even bear to be in a bright room, and struggled to scan letters on a page. I had a significant concussion and this was the first place to truly see it. It marked the beginning of my journey to recovery. I did not even know this kind of therapy existed. I truly consider my journey to be a miracle. I can read books again, I can watch videos, I can be in most bright areas without issue. The staff, therapists, and doctors are sensitive and aware of trigger points related to trauma and vision issues. This is a wonderful place to heal.

It had been several years since I had been seen by Dr. Duval. I went for just a regular appointment this time. The service was great, as usual. Dr. Duval is great. All of the staff are great.
If you're looking for a good eye doctor and can get an appointment, I recommend New Sight.
If you had a concussion or otherwise have problems with your eyes working the way they should, I highly recommend this office and eye therapy, if they recommend it. It works and you'll be glad you did the treatment if you need it and decide to do it.

Dr. Smith is an excellent doctor with kids, and his staff are even more so. I appreciate their kindness as well as their ability to cater to each specific need. We came in with dry eye / wandering eyes and left with a "toolbox" full of ways to support and correct issues. This is the second time they have helped move the needle when others couldn't.
