Hope an actual leader sees this- optical Employees at Provo location have turned me away twice now, when I arrived well before 7:00pm to purchase glasses. I had everything ready both times- and she told me they 'do not take any customers after 6:00pm' even though they do not close until 7:00pm, a full hour before the rest of the store, to have time to wrap up with any customers.
This is very unprofessional- I will keep escalating this until it reaches someone who will actually correct the issue.

Dr. Vega is Amazing at Provo Sam's Club.!!!
This was our first time at Sam's Club optical.
My elementary child and I both had appointments and she was very nervous. He explained everything he was going to do before doing it and continued to ask if she's okay and made it fun.
He was also very patient.
She had such a good experience she can't wait to get her eyes checked again.
It was the first pleasant experience I and she had at an optomitrist.
The staff at the front desk were also very helpful and friendly.
I hope Dr. Vega stays for awhile because that's where my family will be going for now on.

My review is specifically for Mo in the glasses area. I came in with glasses I did not purchase from Sam's. They were snapped in the middle and bent out of shape. He told me exactly where to go to get the break fixed, and then when I brought them back he was a total wizard bending them back into perfect shape. Honestly a week ago I thought I'd have to get new glasses, and now I think these are better fitted to my face than even when I bought them. Thank you so much Mo!

I saw Dr. Vega and I can't say enough words of how incredible he was! I was scared about going to the eye doctor for my first time (irrational fear) and I informed Dr. Vega and without a second thought, he explained everything so thoroughly to me with every step that made me feel so comfortable and forget I was scared! The reps at the desk were incredible too. So patient with every question and answered every price question honestly!

Negligent Optician- This was my first experience with using the optical center at Sams Club. I was getting two new pairs of glasses for my church mission, and I expected quality. After a very short eye exam, I picked frames. When I came to pick them up, the lenses may as well have been gone. I could see no better with them than I could without them. I addressed my concerns with the optician, and she said to give it a month and come back. I did, and she checked my eyes again, but could not figure out why I couldn't see better. Once again she said to give the adjustment more time. I came back a month later for the third time to get help. I was told to give it another couple of months because there was nothing they could do.
On my mission, with the increased reading, I received frequent headaches and was sent to a REAL optician who was able to figure out why both pairs of my expensive Sams Club glasses didn't work. By the time I got back home, I was not allowed a refund or even an apology for their completely negligent service.
I definitely do not recommend.
