Southridge Clinic Eye Care

When we first switched over here, I really liked this place but we have just had multiple bad experiences. I think Dr. Tyler is a great doctor. However, we have had to wait for over two hours in the office for a routine eye exam. Recently we had a situation where we had an appointment scheduled in a month, but my daughter unfortunately ripped a contact lens prior to the appointment and her prescription was expired and they could not think of any possible way to help us. They kept telling us lame excuses that legally they can't, however, doctors write emergency prescriptions all the time. They could've simply tested that eye to verify that the prescription had not changed significantly and written a emergency prescription for one contact lens. It would've taken an assistant five minutes. It's not like it's morphine! They just lack the ability to actually come up with feasible solutions. Overall, I would say the doctors are good and competent but the office management and culture needs some real work. They need to learn some customer service rather than treating us like cogs in an unchangeable system.

Very good experience! My first to this clinic today and I was very impressed. Admission was quick and professional. I was seen right on time by a friendly and capable tech. Dr. Langford was great, took time to explain my condition and to go over all of the corrective options in detail. This is my new go to for all of my optical needs.

I have been going to Southridge ophthalmology for a couple of years and have had trouble making appointments that fit with my schedule. I had an appointment cancelled by the clinic then made a new one and they scheduled me at the wrong time! Now I can't get in for an eye exam! Scheduling at this clinic is super frustrating! Also, they charged me for a contacts, which I paid, then billed my insurance for it! It took me an entire year to get it off my insurance.

VERY frustrated today. Called to get a copy of a prescription I got a year ago and they just flat out lost it. They don't have it at all. I asked them how that happens and they said they didn't know, but that I would just have to come in again for another appointment to get another prescription. When I came in for the original appointment, too, they were pretty incompetent and I was left waiting a long time. They tried a brand of contacts with me that when I wore them that night were making my vision blurry and the doctor treated me like I was an idiot for saying the contacts were bothering me badly. Stay away!

Dr. Tyler is so unprofessional and can cancel your kids appointments, that have been waiting long, at any time depending of the importance of his "meetings". If you call to say anything you will get different versions of the reasons of the cancelling until the last person who gives you the explanation tells you that the dr. Is making appointments for more urgent patients of surgeries that can't wait. First version: meetings. 2nd. Scheduling surgeries. 3 "dr. Is having meetings to schedule the surgery of people who can't wait until next year". = cancelling people that is disposable since generates less gain for people who generates way more.

Dr.Langford was nice and so was his staff. I had no issues with my first visit. Got in quick, got checked out to the fullest of my expectations and found out everything I needed to know. No regrets.

Dr. Langford is an excellent optometrist. He was efficient and his staff was very nice. I'd recommend anyone who needs an eye exam consider Dr. Langford at Southridge Clinic!

Dr. Tyler is wonderful. He went out of his way to get my records and catch up on my medical history. He was patient and friendly.
